Personally I think it will fail, as I said it affects everybody differently. I'm all for keeping impaired people off the roads whether is booze, cannabis, T3's or oxy. The swab test will be a showdown in court garenteed.

I've had dozens of breath test done, and I don't drink. It's just as big of an offence to refuse a breath test as it is to fail one. If the cop thinks your impaired you must submit, it's his word against yours.

I agree with the impaireds off the road..but dont criminal lize one more than another...specially if one is less harmful and you know it..

There's no doubt that the test will not stand in court. You have to remember that us cannabis users are the minority. The gov needs to satisfy the majority of people with little or no experience with cannabis. I think it's a start in the right direction. The gov needs to address impaired driving to keep the non users feel safe and happy. That's their priority.

U should hire a driver or get a less flashy car.
I'm 40 and never done a breathalyzer or anything else.

I agree last thing we need a millions of stoned drivers on our already clogged roads but just between your and my experience u see how our perspectives are so different.

At least 12, that's being conservative. You don't have road blocks in Onterrible? In BC there are lots of impaired driver road checks around the holidays.

but again people dont understand that and will not until it is made KNOWN!

Maybe for you, everbodys different. Fat bastard vs skinny dude the effects are going to be different for everybody. You can't classify all users/patient together. Just because you feel no intoxication doesn't mean your not impaired. I have consumed cannabis for 30 years now, sometimes heavily, I still get high. Sometimes I shouldn't be driving, I've gotten lost driving home from work before, not good Idea to drive fuck up (damm dabs) With that being said I have never been in a car accident, and I drive high daily.

I don't get impaired from cannabis at all. I'd take any sobriety test anytime after consuming any amount. I don't use edible so won't count that as I don't know on that.. Unless I'm over due for sleep...good to go for me.
Prove me impaired...good luck. I would demand the test and on video...will look in court later.
This will be the issue and they will loose. You can just guess somebody is impaired...prove it please.

My doctor had some insight on impaired driving. He wasn't as concerned with driving while high as he was about driving while burnt out, he felt it was more dangerous to drive once the high wore off, and you were tired (burnt). That makes more sense to me, that's why I'm high nearly 24/7. It's been proven that driving tired is just as bad as driving drunk, how do you prove that you are impaired from being tired? You can't. Same as cannabis.

size doesnt matter chronic either.. know a 95 pound cancer lady who was taking 150 mg no issue her chroninc smoking husband at 325 was a different story the porr fucker was floored..
ingesting is different for everyone.

Exactly! That's why the little pill bottle says "be sure to know how this medication effects you before operating heavy machinery." It doesn't say "don't operate heavy machinery while using this medication"...it's implied to do it responsibly (not impaired). So why should MMJ be any different than Oxy's?

Side note, the whole drug impaired driving bill will not target cannabis specifically. It's 2 bills, it will also address drinking and driving and other drugs too. The whole impaired driving laws are being updated/revised.
