Good boy or BAD DOG !? **Warning: Graphic**

I went out back today to do some watering, and found this. For a second I was proud of my Kilo, that he was doing his job keeping all invaders ( no matter how small ) out of our "territory". Then I kinda felt bad for the possum. They have been around for years, and walk along the walls to get around.

In the end, I understood that it is the way of the natural world, and that I could not punish my dog for doing his part in the pack. I could only say one thing to him.

LMAO look how big that dog is....that makes me feel sorry for the possum. Well atleast we know it didnt suffer too long i bet that dog killed him in about 15secs.

He's just a 5 month old puppy! ( A 40 lb. puppy, but a puppy nevertheless!.)

Well i have four yorkies running around my establishment so any dog over 10 pounds is huge to me.

I don't like possums either. They are nasty lookin'. And yeah I was kinda sketched about my dog licking me after I found that.I'll try to get him to gargle with 151 or listerine or something

My cats often catch birds off the back deck, while I don't like it I, if they do bring one in for me I tell them thank you very much for the prezzie. After all, they are also trying to contribute to the family by hunting.


BTW, beautiful dog!

He is a 21 week old Chow. As atavistic mentioned, they are very smart, loyal, and protective of their pack. I never even had to house train him. From the time he could walk on his own he knew to go out and potty in the grass and not in the house where we live.

Yeah I had a cat when I was growing up- he would leave birds, large moths, etc. on the doorstep for us. My dog tries to catch birds but so far he is unsuccessful. It frustrates him. I don't think he understands that when he sees birds flying way up in the sky, that they are untouchable. He tries to stand on things to reach them.

Dude, have you ever run into a pack of wild Chow Chows? lol, by wild I mean stray...but my friend used to have this pack of 3 ChowChows (I don't know why, but I have to say it twice...) that would roam the neighborhood punking people. They were VICIOUS.

But yeah, good job to your Kilo (AWESOME name by the way) FUCK possums, they're the ugliest looking creatures since...THAT dog

They eat worms and bugs. They just aren't cute; pretty harmless really. Are you sure your dog killed it?
