Good Morning/Weather Report Suite

We are in line for more tropical bs later in the week. Delta has gone from a TD to Cat 2 in 24 hours. Not a good sign. But for now, it's cloudy and 68F. Forecast of 89/61F with 20% chance of rain today, tonight and tomorrow. My 10 day only has 3 days of thunderstorms forecast, and none over 1/2" per day. If that holds true, I'll be happy. But if the path moves a little east like Sally did, we could be right back in it.

Delta and Gamma? Is it just me or is that a lot of storms for one season?

We had a few passing thunderstorms last night, but not much rain in them. It's mostly cloudy and 83F. Forecast of 85/73F with 20% chance of rain today and tonight, with 80% tomorrow. I guess that is all we will get out of Delta. Thank the good Lord it's moving in a hurry. I feel for those folks around Lake Charles who are double dipping.

Pretty hot today, but lots of wind. 14mph with gust up to 18. It's mostly cloudy and 86F. Forecast of 86/71F with 50% chance of rain today, 70% tonight and 20% tomorrow. Luckily Delta encountered lots of wind shear just offshore and broke down fast.

It never dropped below the mid 60s last night, which is weird for northern Colorado in October.

Breezy today and low 70s today, which is good for blowing the wildfire smoke on by.

I had my first frost of the season this morning. Well on the truck windshield and roof anyway. Wunderground says we got down to 39F. It's sunny and 42F at 0645. Forecast high of 66F with no rain in sight.

We had our first freeze of the year, getting down to 28F this morning. At 0740 it's sunny, 34F with 69% humidity. Forecast of 51/27F with no rain in sight.

The BIL of the part time cleaning and maintenance guy at work has moved down here from Indiana to be our full time C&M guy and I'm hiring him to help me with some of the work at the river house. He said he would probably be fine to come out when he gets off work this afternoon. But this being his first Florida cold, he may change his mind. I would be fine with his waiting until this cold spell has passed.

Three nights of cold has fucked my veggies, and most likely my other gardens as well. Today it warmed up, with a front passing. Rain showers just started a few minutes ago. At 1225 it's light rain, 69F with 83% humidity. Forecast calls for 72/40F with 80% chance of rain today, with 10% tonight and tomorrow. 10 day of 72/32F with three days of possible rain.

I had thought about going down and getting under the river house to pull nails from the deck boards we took off earlier, but I've decided to take a nap for now.

It's been a rainy day here. At 1330 it's cloudy, 54F with 98% humidity. Forecast of 56/40F with 30% chance or rain the rest of the day, 25% tonight and 10% tomorrow. It's a nice break from the cold. We have had way more frost than normal for this time of year. For the sake of my spring crop, I'm hoping winter will be warmer.

Speaking of the penultimate day of fall, today's length of day is 10 hours 10 minutes, with tomorrow being 1 second shorter.

We have had rain the last couple of hours. Now the wind is picking up. Soon the line of thunderstorms will move through and we will get cold. At 1000 it's raining, 67F with 91% humidity. Forecast of 67/28F with 100% chance of rain today, 0% tonight and tomorrow.

We've had hot rainy weather for most of the week. Today was the biggest accumulation of rain with .92 inches, but there was over 2 inches just to the north of us. Which means the river is going to flood. It's high already, but will rise another 5-6 feet by Monday. It's forecast to be about 4 feet lower than it was last flood. (and most of the time, it's lower than the forecast)

Last few days have been in the 70's. But it looks like the cold is going to push south enough to change that tomorrow. At 2245 it's raining, 50F with 96% humidity. Forecast low of 48F with 100% chance of rain tonight, 80% tomorrow and 15% tomorrow night.

You guys in the cold rain and snow stay safe.

Yesterday morning there was frost on the roof of the truck. Not so much today. At 4:20 it's partly cloudy, 81F with 41% humidity. Forecast low of 59F with 15% chance of rain tonight, and 25% chance tomorrow. 10 day forecast high/low of 82/45F with four days of possible rain.

It looks like spring is here. I waited out the frost as long as I could. Everything I had under glass is gone out into the wild, and that space is starting to fill up with citrus, peppers and tomatoes.

It's raining in northern Colorado today, temps in the mid 40s. Raining, like I'm in fucking Portland or something...

Oh, well. At least we got a week of zeroish weather last month.

We've gone from turning the AC on last weekend, to having to switch it back over to heat a couple three days ago. We've had a goodish amount of rain when it hot, clear skies when it's cooler. Tonight at 2330 it's clear, 53F with 80% humidity. Forecast low of 43F with 5% chance of rain. High tomorrow of 73F. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings are forecast in the high 30's and hope that's it for frost. I'm running out of space, so putting spring stuff outside.
