This is a 300 watt CFL thats very heavy. Keeping that in mind and the fact that it will probably get very hot, i tied it around its own treads with a steel wire. Good idea, bad idea? will this break the bulb, will it spark or something crazy im not thinking of? thanks for any imput

Man, that is laughable.:hump:
I do it with a real 200W CFL, by real I mean it draws 200W, not the equivilent, and it's about 14" by 6" and very heavy so I have to support it to keep it horizontal. No problems.:peace:

Yes............

Hey Spiked, Is that plant in your avatar one you did with the 200 watt CFL?
It was vegged with 100W CFL's and flouro's, then I added a 400W HPS for the last few weeks of veg, but flowering was with 1 400W HPS.:peace:
