Good PC games...?

So until I buy another ps3 or fix my YLOD, I was gonna invest in a couple PC games to occupy the time...anybody got any recommendations? Never gamed much on computer but figured it would come in handy the next time it happens :wall:

Played fallout 3 on PS, it was good stuff, been waitin for new vegas for quite awhile, ill prolly end up gettin that 1 after the ps fix....

As for diablo 2 I was just lookin at that lol played the first one on ps1 and I LOVED it, D2 was an option but I figured if the 3rd was right around the corner I might wait...any news on an offical release date for that?

nope not yet =[

some say march, but theyve been makin the game for years. sometime in 2011 im sure.
the game + the expansion is like 30 bucks still lol. but theres probly some torrents for it. idk about a beta key tho

oh also D3 will probly have higher system requirements(not anything crazy tho). so if u got some regular ol' dell it may not run it

Sometimes I 'sample' PC games via torrentz.com, lot's of good ones out right now depending on what you like and your system specs; COD Black Ops, Starcraft II, Star Wars The Force Unleased II, various releases of Need for Speed and on and on. Just search something like 'PC Game' etc. If a game is good enough, especially the first person shooter types I'll buy them to play the multi-player. =)

Theres quite a few sites you can "sample" pc games, haha but what kind are you looking for? i used to play pc games pretty often and probably could recommend some titles for you, do you like MMORPG's? Shooters? Role playing? PvP online gaming? looking for good single player? Give us a bit more to go on :P

Hey thanks for all the input people...gota HP Pavillion dv7 laptop, maybe a yr old, 4G ram n 500G hard drive...hopefully that'll be enough for D3! :hump:

I got the first starcraft on here, loved that one too when it first came out (had the 64 version) I used to be into real time strategies like this hardcore, also liked Command and Conquer, but anymore it's usually FPS. I like role playing alright, mmorpgs are good too, as long as it doesn't require a subscription fee LOL

I would get call of duty but figured since I was gunna have it on playstation, be pointless to get a PC version. Heard of another good online fps for pc, Counterstrike I think? Anybody played it?

Counterstrike is a good game, or was, not as active as a community now that COD invaded every household, but the only way to play it online and have fun is buying it via steam, which costs 20$. Most mmorpgs i know of require a monthly fee so i wont start there.. ever play battlefield bad company? or splinter cell? decent games.. iduno check out that website i recommended, if you register their is a forum dedicated solely to pc games.

I spent my years in highschool trying to "Go pro" in that game. Addicting as shit if you get any good and play with a team.

No idea how it is now.

ya diablo 2 is awesome dude, i gotta give starcraft props fer reel tho, but in my opinion the best pc game to play stoned is elder scrolls 4 oblivion,btw i got new vegas, good game overall but as been said before not as good as 3
