Democrats are complaining that Republicans didn't play fair when they twice packed the Supreme Court.

Yes, Republicans are hypocrites and have no care for precedents or even their own rules, which they break when convenient. They break the law and then drag the issue out in court and then ignore the ruling if it goes against them.

BUT, elections matter. Democrats could have stopped Republican court packing by winning elections but they didn't. So, dammit. Win the next ones. Stop whining when you lose. That's what Republicans do.

"Because we won"

That's why Republicans pushed through a last minute appointment to SCOTUS when, during the last years of Obama's term they said "voters should decide".

Yet people like you, who aren't right wing nuts, say Democrats are why Republicans do shitty things. To me, it sounds like childish anger.

there was no last minute push during Obama's Admin; last minute was Trumps ACB for RBG replacement..Trump was in error when he stated 'we won' because Scalia died 2/2016. Trump didn't win until 11/2016..therefore plenty of time to pick SCOTUS. The Turtle fought hard.

if you are claiming that i said something, you need to cite it because i'm claiming i didn't. why would you have issue posting citation unless it doesn't exist? in that case, you just say 'sorry, i was wrong'..most men find that difficult for some reason. i think it's pretty hot and have more respect for those who can reflect on their inner selves; admitting to something, anything.

Republicans stopped the Garland nomination for the Supreme Court because they could and there was nothing Obama could do. Believe what you want but there is nothing to base it upon other than childish anger.

Your kind have been ragging on Democrats for more than 20 years, nagging them to do something when the thing in the way are obstructionist reactionary right wing radicals who call themselves Republicans.

The U.S. Supreme Court declined Tuesday to hear an emergency appeal of a vaccine requirement imposed on Maine health care workers, the latest defeat for opponents of vaccine mandates.

It was the first time the Supreme Court weighed in on a statewide vaccine mandate. It previously rejected challenges of vaccine requirements for New York City teachers and Indiana University staff and students.

Justice Stephen Breyer rejected the emergency appeal but left the door open to try again as the clock ticks on Maine’s mandate. The state will begin enforcing it Oct. 29.

The Maine vaccine requirement that was put in place by Democratic Gov. Janet Mills requires hospital workers and nursing home workers to get vaccinated or risk losing their jobs.

Opponents tried to block the mandate, but a federal judge rejected the request on Oct. 20. The judge said the record indicated regular testing alone wasn't sufficient to stop the spread of the delta variant.

A three-judge panel of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals let the ruling stand in a one-sentence statement two days later.
