Stay away! I submitted an order last week for GDP. Selected cash payment, expensive so I decided to send via MoneyGram. They picked up my money yesterday.

Today I receive an email stating my GDP seeds were no longer available and I can choose something different.

Wtf. I'm so pissed. Now they have my money and no GDP for me.

Stay far away as they could give a shit less about your order.

That's the bummer about sending snail mail. I can kind of understand you frustrations but at the same time you have to understand if they reserved and held every package that was sent cash for they will inevitably eventually be holding onto stock for nothing. Cash that was never sent or was stolen or lost in the process. How about respectfully requesting your money returned and realize that it's just tough luck instead of slandering them and making yourself look immature? Either that or just pick something else.

In the future, when you want stock guaranteed saved its worth checking with them beforehand and see if they will do so. Some will reserve your selections if you provide a tracking number on your cash as proof you have a package on the way to them. While I haven't done this with Gorilla I've done this successfully with 2 different banks. I don't see why Gorilla wouldn't. Top notch customer service.

I ordered from Gorilla once and didn't have a problem. In my opinion they have stellar customer service. I don't see any Herbies or Attitude representatives on any forums...... just sayin.

I sent confirmation and MoneyGram within a week time frame while communicating with them the whole time. Slandering? Immature? You seem delusional.

So them replying for the whole week without informing me the seeds were actually not available is my fault? That's not bad business? Not being sneaky? Give me a break.

I've bought from the attitude as well as herbies for many yrs with no problem. Good customer service and seeds always arrive timely and undamaged.

Not trying to be an ass, just simply stating how it comes across to me. "waaaa I didn't get what I wan't therefore noone should use them"

Did you see my review of Cannazon? I didn't have the best experience. You don't see me saying "Horrible- Do Not Use". And yes, that is precisely slandering the name. I simply shared my experience and opinion and the fact I am unlikely to use them again for reasons provided.

Now that you have explained things a bit further it makes a bit more sense. I'd be frustrated too if you were in contact the whole time and they said they would hold the seeds for you until your payment arrived. You failed to mention those ever so important details in your original post.

I had the same thing happen with attitude a few month. I waited 3 wks. for the seeds i wanted to come in before they sent it out. Shit happens

D it might sound like I'm whining but that money could've been used at a few other seed banks to order GDP. Went with Gorilla solely on the price. I might have been harsh for the title of this thread, but if you read the response they sent me for not having them available your head would spin.

GDP I've been waiting for and they won't have it back for months. It's not that bad because I have CandyLand V2 coming.

Want the original to cross GDP x SugarPunch. Purple Punch.

I don't see this as your fault, you were in contact with them through the whole week and they didn't let you know that they ran out. To me that is just shitty business and you shouldn't be talked down to for not wanting to pick another one. If I go to the store for lemons and they are out am I going to buy an apple instead? No that is pure horse shit, I wanted lemons.

If anyone disagrees with that they can give me the LDDS (long daddy dick stroke)

I posted this on the other Gorilla thread as well, and I've attempted to email you - I think we identified your order anyway.

Unfortunately, we have hundreds of orders placed every week with cash, western union, moneygram, etc as payment options that people never complete. We don't usually reserve the stock until the payment is received so I'll be looking at the email system to find out if they made those promises.

People have been waiting for almost 2 years for Ken's Grand Daddy Purp to come back in stock - I marked it as back in stock as soon as we had it and we sold out in 24 hours. So did all of our suppliers. There was an incredible amount of pent-up demand & I've asked that when it comes back in stock that they buy up every pack they can get their hands on.

We have one supplier who hopes they will have more in in about 2 weeks, but they're not promising anything. Ken has awesome gear, but his supply is not reliable at all. I happen to know the back story to the current issues because I know someone who supplies his dispensary with finished product, and I feel bad for the guy and hope that they're going to be back in full production soon.

If you want to contact me through my email (I've left my address here for you as well as trying to email you based on what I think is your order), we'll see if we can't make it up to you.

Well, how about that. An answer straight from the source - ;)
I see lots of seed banks accepting cash in an envelope. I did this ONCE - and never again. As you might have guessed, the cash never arrived. Never doing that shit again, even if my uncle was running the seed bank. Sending cash in an envelope is just asking for trouble, ime. Good luck guys, :peace: and stay safe.

DSCN0890.JPG A hand-full of Midnight Nectar Seeds. It's my own hybrid I made this last run : (Afghani x Durga Mata II) - A test run showed 5/5 germination within 2 days :joint:

For cash orders with us, we recommend using tracked mail. That way, both you & the company know the payment has arrived, and the only missing payments that I know of have been for people who didn't use tracked mail - some I know very well and would be 100% sure they really did mail the money.

I live in the US, so this amazed me, but lots of UK postal workers go through the untracked mail if it looks like it might contain something of value. The little tracking label seems to keep them honest.

To cut down on problems even more, the owner picks up the payments from the post office personally and applies the payments himself. That way, there's no mail man on the end - and no one can say an employee is pocketing the cash. This does cause delays because he'll get busy and misses the post office some days, but it eliminates as much as the missing cash problems as we can. He has no vested interest in stealing your cash because he wants repeat business.

Nice to get an answer even if it isn't the one that is wanted, I understand not reserving something until the money arrives but in a circumstance like this the money is never going to get there before the beans are sold out. I personally wouldn't be sending cash by mail either, credit card works wonders.

We didn't know that our initial shipment was all we would get - I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. The only other time I've seen a seed sell out that fast was when Cali Connections released their version of GSC.

That being said, Ken Estes brand is American & happens to be one of my favorites. No one else at the company would have known how popular it is or that it would have sold out like that. And, if I didn't have a personal interest, I wouldn't have known either. I wanted a pack of the Black Cherry OG's and they were gone before I could even load that one to the site.

They're dealing with dozens of breeders & hundreds of different seeds -they know what sells the most, they know what they get complaints about, but they're not going to know what to expect from seeds that have been sold out for a year or more.

None of that is an excuse -just an explanation. You've got a valid point, but it's harder to manage than it sounds.

The other part that's the most complicated bit is that due to Mastercard & Visa rules, we can't accept credit cards outside of the UK. If you notice, lots of other seedbanks are having the same problems. A speedier payment option would solve lots of things - so everyone should support their local legalization efforts.
