Got 15 plants. 1st Timer, do I clone them or flower them all?

Need to know if I should clone all these plants or should I flower them all on my first batch?

I've got the size for flowering (18-22") but they are on 18hrs of light right now. I'd like to get the males outta there so I can concentrate on the real thing. What's my best option?

Clone them all and make a new grow room with 12/12 to get the males determined?

Flower them all in the current room and just change the timer to 12/12?

Do that. That allows you to setup a perpetual grow. Just make sure you label and track the plants you are flowering. Once you determine which ones are male, take them and the clones you made of them out and trash them. Some will say that you can flower them to determine sex, then revert them back to veg to see which ones are male, but this will cause the clones to lose quality and quantity over time. It may take 30 generations to shows signs of regression, but it will come back to haunt you if you keep that batch long enough. You might wanna do it quick though, they are getting a little tall at almost 2 feet. Good luck

Just my 2 cents. Are you planning to keep some as Mothers ? If so, get half of the smallest plants into the flowering room now, take clones from the larger half plants and determine the sexes. This way you will get some moderate yields from the weaker plants but at the same time you will keep the bigger (genetically better, stronger) plants as future mothers.

Just flower them and keep the fems. Its never to late to clone and can be done with fully flowered plants.

Sir Smoker - that's what the root of my question was...can I still clone a flowered plant? Now if I do just flower them all, will I be able to reinduce another veg cycle to keep some mothers? Or can I make a mother out of a clone?
