For the M1 Garand folks, I picked this up a few days ago:
Sweet!! Has it been chromed? Looks shiny.

The only issue I have is it makes the entire rifle like . . . 9 ft long (or so it seems).

Possibly, but without documentation I would be leary of paying premium price for it - scales are pretty beat up & considerable pitting on the bbl ring.

I've got a .50 Accura inline for deer. These's guns are so accurate that base of skull shot is simple with a rest.
I've also got a .58 side by side that is a hoot to touch off.

i been wanting to shoot my trap door and krag. maybe this little push will get me to let loose money for a box of ammo for each.
you seen the russians are issuing mosin nagants in 7.62x54r to some of there troops. these rifles are from wwII.
here is one of my wwII dated nagants ready for issue, its nice to know the nagants are still in the fight!

I have shot the M1 & sure wouldn't want to be standing in front of it, she's pretty darn accurate & def packs a punch.

I'm sure you know but make sure you use low powered ammo in that old Trap Door - just an FYI.
