"Founded in 1813, the Watervliet Arsenal is the United States' longest continuously running arsenal and today produces artillery, cannons, mortars and tanks. The quarter-mile-long 'Big Gun Shop' is the arsenal's oldest manufacturing facility. The building earned its name by being home to 16-inch seacoast and battleship gun production. The arsenal's big guns were used in every conflict from the Spanish American War through the Persian Gulf War."

Read Massad Ayoob's book and then dismiss most of his legalistic horseshit because the last thing you should be thinking about in a shooting situation is legal ramifications

Then read Bill Jordan's book and heed his advice

Mr. Murphy will love this
"Biofire's latest model — the one recently made available for pre-order — looks like a regular handgun but one out of a futuristic movie. On the gun grip, there is a small fingerprint sensor right where your middle finger rests when holding the weapon. On the back is a 3D facial recognition sensor. When someone authorized to use the gun picks it up, green lights on the sight and the back of the weapon turns on, indicating that the firearm recognizes the person and is unlocked."

Let's see...Biofire or S&W 27-3, let me think, which do I trust when the SHTF?... ;-)
