Got guns?

mine is a .177 that has a maximum velocity of 1250 fps...not killing a moose...ever...or a deer...to kill anything bigger than a rabbit i'd have to be a phenomenal shot, and phenomenally lucky...
You know not what you wield. Deer are easily within capabilities. Learn to tighten, tune and diesel. I'm at almost 1400FPS with some polishing and better seals and packings. All about the aim and breathing after you have the tool. Be safe. And enjoy plinking cans. Peace.

what pellets do you like? i'm just using the cheap o ones ATM in my gamo whisper. better pellets are supposed to really tighten the groupings up??
i use the cheap ones to plink around, i have a can of the alloy ones, but at the range i use it, it doesn't seem to make a lot of difference...if i'm trying to hit anything over 50 yds away or take down an animal to eat, i'll put my toy away and get the Hi-Point out

I was actually referring to a member whom thinks it's funny to terrorize/maim/kill other's pets.

It is unconscionable to think that a projectile traveling 1250 fps ("that will penetrate a steel can & X amount of sand") wouldn't penetrate 5/8" of hide, intercostal muscle and the lung causing the animal to drown in it's own blood because you don't want to pick up a bacon wrapper.

Dogs do what dogs do, it's not their fault. If they are being objectionable, man up and talk to the owner or call animal control.

And yes, I have seen a moose killed with a pellet rifle (.177) and heard of a couple of others.

I found these to decimate "Scammo" at ranges beyond 20 yrds. And much better take down due to further penetration inertia. Match the weight to your gun. All differing. And clean the barrel after every outing. 719uaCZ6TfL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

And please share. I hate animal cruelty. Not so much deterred with returning such actions on behalf of my friends. GRRRR!

i do not shoot animals for fun...if i shoot a dog that's about to knock over a weeks worth of garbage in the ass with a pellet gun, that doesn't make me an animal hating monster, no matter what you think about it...it makes the dog's lazy ass owner a piece of shit for allowing them to run free and fuck up their neighbors day...i'm not the one who took responsibility for another living thing, and then neglect it, and ignore the fact that it's causing problems for other people...i hate animal cruelty, we just seem to define who it is being cruel differently

I asked for a bird feeder and a BB gun as a kid was told I was cruel. Grew up and they call it a sportsman now. HYPOCRISY.

and that equates to a 1400 pound moose exactly how?
I never asserted equivalency. The statement was nothing more than a very brief anecdote. Pellet guns always conjure up that nice kid I knew. Sorry if that post upset you. In your post, I sensed an irritated person. Apologies. I liked your new " Ray Gun " , be careful, always assume it's charged up.

I do have mounts - and we ate all the meat as that's why I shoot animals.
Kill clean? How's that dog you shot doing?
I have never shot a dog other than point blank to the head with 22 Mag after it mauled a child. You owe me an apology. Now I understand. I apologize for my post.
