the white spots are almost gone, there getting more green every day!
Popcorn, it seems to grow more during night, is that me or is that the way it works
Some plants thrive on a 12/12 cycle right from seed others won't flower it all depends on the genetic's. If you feel that your plant is doing great on a 16/8 cycle then stick with it and see where it leads. Remember bro I have never grown with CFL's but I have been growing for a long time and In my experiences 24/7 for veg is the only way to go. I wonder what the white spots were? maybe from you pulling it out of the husk yourself? who knows.

I promised some pic's so here we go. There not the best(taken with a 1.3mp camera). These plants are just normal kush 5 weeks old. The two tall ones I cleaned up a little but the short one has been untouched. Right now I have them under a 600 watt Metal Halide 24/7.

Thats were I get my seeds from. Been using this strain for over 2 years now and with my rig I get just over 2oz's a plant.
You notice how the leaves are starting to turn purple? when I harvest the whole plant is very dark green to purple. When I flower these plants they like it cold at night and the colder the more purple they get.
He's currently out of stock because I just bought the last of them but he did email me and they will be freshly stocked next week.
BTW these plants don't grow tall maybe at best 4 and a half feet.

Are you going to top those girl's and they look great.........:p
I have never topped my plants because they grow short. They do get a little crazy on me though but it's not a problem as like I said they grow short.
I get nervous when I mess with this strain. When I repot them it almost kills them so all I really do to them is pick of the dead leaves and other imperfections.
And besides that I get a big enough yield as it is and I'm not looking for a trophy plant.

can you keep them in the veg cycle for a long time to increase the yield you will get ?

i seen some websites say you can get 400-450g off a indoor plant

what the normal yield you get per plant ?

i seen some websites say you can get 400-450g off a indoor plant
I'm getting just over two(2) ounces a plant. When I tried this strain the first couple of grows it was just over an once a plant but I have since gone back to old school ways and just use regular potting soil distilled water and a 20-20-20 nutrition. I'm in the city so my water is good and I have never had to check PH. When I first tried growing the plants I was following advice from other people telling me to get this and get that but in the end all I needed to get them going was good old paintiance and old school ways.

Those numbers you see at sites saying 400 to 500 grams well thats with the best of conditions and maybe one out of 500 plant's indoors will ever see that kind of yield. Those are just selling points along with pic's that show a cola the size of an arm, lol.

some people told me they keep plants in the veg cycle for over 5 months before moving to flowering
Well the theory is the longer you veg the higher the yield. With me if I had more room I would love to veg for 90 day's. But I can only fit 6 plants in my tent and theres two of us smoking so it's just not feasible for me to veg that long.
You can veg a plant forever as long as you don't turn of the lights.
