you are the first person to show up with the right stuff and not sugar or packets from star bucks. A no brainer, so thanks, from all. Lol, hehe. Yes! That is an excellent source of carbohydrates for your soil organisms to use. That will feed the bacteria and the fungi. They will feed your plant. Your plant will send out exudates to attract which ones it needs. Just make sure to get bacteria nd fungi in there!

Also do not overuse. The soil, once established, can handle and actually take care of itself. I have found this to be true in reading and in action. I do not dare feed my "super soil" -ish soil that I heavily amended and let cook for a month with all the needed microrgansims any molasses. Lol, it pisses it off with a bacteria overload aftre that and actually in a fully preppes soil it upsets the baclance. However it is great to cook soils and in reg soils to foster bacteria growth.
