I am adding Humbolts Gravity to my lil girls and when following the directions 1/2 teaspoon per gallon, I did not notice any difference in ppms. How could this be right?

Not sure on the ppms. But DO NOT add more Gravity. If you do, you can likely kiss your plants good bye!! Gravity runs hot hot hot!!! There's lot's of articles on here about it. Do a search and see for yourself.

That said, I run Gravity in my DWC system. I run it at 1/3rd the recommended strength along with gen hydro flora nova series, Dutch masters zone, gh liquid koolbloom, and fox farm cha. Ching. I keep my ppms always under 800 max and usually closer to 600 ppm. I rock the 5.8 ph and have had incredible results.

Hope this helps

Because Gravity has very little salts in it. It is mostly kelp and water. TDS meters measure the conductivity of salts in a solution.

WOOOOOOOOW!!!!! Holy shit. Back up on second. Gravity may not raise your ppm. However, the post above about kissing your plants goodbye is just shit. Ive ran 1600ppm concentrated Supernatural with a .5 conversion tri-meter aand Full strength Gravity and 1/2 strength Snow Storm in soil and coco grows. Very lttle ill effects and I would recommend it highly. Get the plant used to it. What strain again?

tell me.. all i know is what the bottle says on it
It's a flower hardner that is supposed to be used 3 weeks before the end of the plant(s) life cycle.......if used before time...your buds wont finish filling out.......it forces your plant to finish a little faster......

i've never lost a plant or had issues using the gravity. i just find it odd that it doesnt do anything to change the ppms. i have white widow, bubba kush, & super silver haze. what do you suggest when using gravity? i start off with 2 teaspoons in a 5 gal bucket & up it to 3 teaspoons, with kelp & molasses 2 feedings in a row. i keep hearing ""don't overuse the gravity""
