Grease Monkey Ladies Getting Close

I have these Grease Monkey ladies from Exotic getting close to the end in the 2x4s first run. RDWC using GH trio, Timber 4VL with AC Infinity T6 fan/filter.

Supposedly needs 8 weeks to flower, these pics were taken today on day 67 of flower. I have not grown this strain before so not sure exactly what to expect as far as turning colors on the leaves, but there has been zero of that so far. The buds are starting to thicken up and get covered in trics, smells amazing! 99% of the pistils are all brown now and most have disappeared or are getting close to it. The trics appear to me to be mostly milky/cloudy today. My damned hands shake so much with my microscope it is hard to say. I might see a couple of amber, but believe they are on leaves and not the actual buds.

Thoughts?

Ok, I managed to make it another 6 days lol. The buds are starting to fill in pretty good I think. Smell is divine. 10 1/2 weeks of flower time now. I did manage some decent pics of the trics today though, looks like they are coming along?? No "fall colors" at all starting on the plants themselves, forgot to take a pic of the two entire plants.

There is some twine on the buds. I screwed up and used green twine for my scrog nets in both tents...won't do that again. I will be picking a few strands out as trimming commences.

Another couple of weeks here you think? Longer? Shorter?

The million dollar question. Good luck guessing how long you'll be, waiting on a woman! Or even worst several of them! But yeah wait until more amber trics, if your going for "couch affect"

Its always up to the consumer of the flower!

Almost any weed gets me sleepy so as soon as i see my single amber on bud (Not on leaf like you mentioned), i will pull my plants.
If it were me smoking that flower id pull it right now.

If you like a heavier high that makes it hard to keep your eyelids open you could easily go another week. Maybe 2.

Thanks! I get that (about the consumer) but trichome color is something that I had never paid any attention to before I started growing last year so I'm not sure what I want/like just yet. lol

Not sure if I have the will power to do it, but I'd like to take one if a few days and let the other one go another week or so. Then I could actually compare. But you think it wouldn't be "too early" to dry at least some of it now? It is my best looking grow of my 3 so far and I'm getting anxious to get after it.

True that on waiting on a woman! Love my wife to death but man....... I might do one in a day or two and let the second plant go for another week or so. Then I would know what I personally like better.

It’ll definitely be bomb if you pull now. But like they said another week or two wouldn’t hurt.

At this point I usually pop a bud off and dry it over 2-3 days to try it out. It’s a good way to kill time lol.

I’ve done a few staggered harvests now and don’t notice much difference in the high with a 2 week gap. I do notice a difference in weight and density though.
