Digital completed the job that transistors started ... the distruction of reproduced music in the home. Digital sucks.

I like vinyl. I also like transistors. Today's amp designers can make a good solid-state amp.

I prefer to rent the artist themselves and have them sing in my backyard.

The going rate for Carrie Underwood is about $150,000. Miley, I think, can be had for a bag of coke and a cigarette.

I run an early 1980s Crown amp and pre amp.Its only 45 watts but very loud and clear through my speakers.Just ask my neighbors,lol
