Greetings from HELL

I started a couple of plants after playing around with a DIY Rdwc I didn't take the time to get all the same parts like I had 3/ 5 gallon buckets with uniseals and a 17 gallon rez with bulkheads. Using 1" flexible pipe even before the first of the uniseals leaked I was designing a better system.
I'm going to use 4/ 4 gallon square buckets and a 120 quart reservoir and bulkheads for everything with scheduled 40 pvc 1.5" and a few shutoff valves for the undercurrent the rez is going to be outside and at the back of my tent (3x3x6') and the return line is going to be reduced down to 3/4". With a Inline pump and 3 airstone's in the rez and a airstone in each bucket. I'm still In the design stage and I'm trying to figure out how to get the water from the rez to the top inch or two of the buckets so it has a waterfall effect. Al, the plumbing is going to feed out of the bottom vent holes of the tent. Should I paint the pvc black?
Thank you
P.S. I'm using a ice chest as the rez because it's hot in hell.

Thanks I was going to go with 2 inch pvc but I got the wrong bulkheads I got threaded and had to return them. Yes I thinking of going with ABS instead of pvc I think that the white of the pvc would reflect heat? Instead of retaining heat like black would? I could be talking out of my as$ too?

Possibly but I doubt it'd make any real difference

Fuck man, you are where I was when I started.
ABS vs PVC does not matter because you need to cover your piping with insulation.
I like ABS though because I don't have to prime it. ABS glue and go.
