I got greybeard private label white widow from him last year and definetly didn't dissappoint. Everything i know about the strain i thought his beans represented it well. With that said. I think the company is about to crash and burn. I think he is selling seeds he don't have in his possession and due to the current events with delays in the mail it bitting him in the rear.

My experience so far with them so far is. 2 different orders last year both came fast, complete and with freebies.

Made a order late March of this year and it came complete, fast and with freebies. Made another order early April and it came fast but, missing 2 strains and no freebies. After a week of trying to get in contact with someone i finally was able to join the fb group and figured out by comments that a person by the name of Robin Curtiss was somehow affiliatted with Greybeard. So messaged them. After a few days of polite comments on the page about my missing beans i finally got a reply from Robin and was assured my missing beans would be sent out that day. Later i got tracking and figured all was good. A few days later i decided to make another order. Which hasn't came out of my account yet and the site has been down for 2 days for maintenance. Well now looking at the tracking number he sent for my missing beans. Its still showing not accepted at the post office.

I don't know what his deal is right now. The failure to communicate with people is very bad business. They definetly have a decent following and some loyal customers.

This Robin Curtiss has a post on his fb page explaining delays in the mail right now coming from other countries. I don't really care for his tone in his post. His inability to understand why people are upset with him right now is mind blowing from a consumer stand point.

And also in a attempt to not label this as a all out bash of greybeard. I have had 100% germination on everything i got from them up to this point. Atleast 40 beans and 8 different strains.

I had great luck with regs and fems I've ordered through the site sometimes shi T was delayed a couple weeks out and I stresses the fuck out about it but I've always received my seeds. Autoflowers on the other hand I have had some issues with germination and had 3 of 6 not make it which chapped my ass some.

Following up on this. I ended up ordering from Greybeard. Ordered Green Gelato Autos and Trans Siberian Autos. Took a week to arrive and received what I ordered plus 2 free Bruce Banner Autos. It's a small order so I decided to try it out. No issues so far, packets look intact. Now to find out how many germinate.
When did you order and when did they arrive

The people are assholes. Robin or Mike either one. He sells shit he buy in bulk from Seedsman according to Robin. Few years ago bought alleged pre-98 Bubba. Popped 10 hermies out of 10. I probably haven’t had 5 hermies total in all the years I’ve grown. I had 28 other plants. 5 strains. But it was me supposedly. Screw Greybeard.

I have grown greybeards "Blueberry headband" twice and I have to say I was very impressed with my phenos. Not sure who seeds came from but that strains seeds are solid producers of fine herb. Will grow again. Now the "Chernobyl" strain i got hermied on me. May have been my fault though. Forgot to water pot one day and plant wilted, hermied right after that.

@feloe Did you get and grow the seeds from Greybeard? I ordered from them a few days ago and interested in if it's legit or not.
Honestly, I've ordered from probably every single bank, breeder, reseller u can imagine, and as far as shipping time, and being consistent with seeds that pop, I'll order from greybeards before I order from 90% of these other guys. Fastest shipping hands down, to where I am located anyways. If I order on a Wednesday, they will be in my mailbox the following wed. Sometimes sooner. I was skeptical too seeing all the reviews on here the very first time I made an order, and the first time actually was the o ly time there has ever been an issue. But they send me a handful of free seeds for the mix up, and gave my money back so‍♂ that alone says alot more for them then 99.9% of EVERY other place someone can order from. It's just one guy and his wife tho I think, so they aren't as quick to answer emails as they are to ship, but I'd be VERY suprised if u ha e any issues, and if for whatever reason u might possibly have one, they will make it right from my experience anyways... My mix up was they ddnt have enough stick of one strain I ordered. Everything else came but I ddnt get as many of the one that I was looking for... Hope ur grows turn out as hope that helps. Maybe a little reassurance if nothing else... I was pissed when that first order happened, and I left them a review letting them know, but since then they been on point... I prefer ordering from them over alot of these guys...

Greybeard does not store their stock properly. Two orders with beans not popping right. I know what you're thinking, it's my fault. I make seeds myself and can make old beans pop, like 20-30yrs. They storing stuff wrong kids. If a legit seed company isn't using refrigeration, it's their bad.

Luckily, I never go big first order with a new bank. He was like the only place that had what I was looking for, well that wouldnt take 2 months to get to me.

How long are seeds considered viable or useful if not kept in proper storage? I have always kept mine in a small fridge regardless....but curious how long a seed stays fresh if you'd call it that for?

only for a couple of months max. if your not refrigerating em dont expect a good seed after 2+months. with refrigeration you can keep em for years

Honestly they can last years without refrigeration, but conditions are super important. But when you're wholesaling and can't do it right, you're just grabbing money. @Tht_Blk_Guy27 is right though, a lot depends on that viability. Depends on seed maturation, how they were harvested and treated before. Every breeder has their own way of doing these things. One of the best ways I've learned for viability is a double edged sword. You leave them on the plant and let the pots dry and plants die right there, it creates a tough outer shell on the seeds that protects them longer, prolonging viability. But it also makes seeds with the stuck helmet thing more often, that's easy enough to deal with if you've done it before..... Anyway, I wrote greybeard off a couple years ago because of their methods. I bought the seeds for my dad that was getting into growing and it was a huge disappointment, like 2 out of two packs or something. And the way they implied I was doing something wrong kind of sealed the deal. Won't buy again ever.

Thanks for the input. I only grabbed a 3 pack as it was all the had so if anything....no "major" loss.
