TRY GETTIGN A COLD AIR BLOWER FAN. THERE ARE SOME IN HOME DEPOT , LOWES , OSH(BUT MORE EXPENSIVE) OR AT ANY HYDROPONICS STORE LOCATED BY YOU. OR AND AIR CONDITION STORE. THE FANS YOU POUR WATER IN IT WITH SOME ICE. AND THE THAT IT BLOWS OUT IS PRITTY DARN COLD AND WILL BRING IT DOWN ABOUT 5-10 DEGREES ATLEAST. I USE ON OF THESE AIR CONDITIONERS, I GOT A SMALL 1 FOR 25 BUCKS. ALSO A LITTLE SECRET I USE TO MAKE THE AIR COME OUT EVEN COLDER IS THAT WEN I ALREADY POURED THE WATER AND SOME ICE IN THERE. THROW ABOUT A QUATER HAND FULL OF SALT IN THERE. THE SALT MAKES THE ICE CUBES LAST LONGER AND THE GET EXTREMLY COLD. TRY IT OUT PUT ICE AND WATER IN CUP AND POR A LITTLE SALT. IT WILL TURN EXTREMLY COLD AND HAVE LONGER LSATING ICE. THIS LITTLE TECHNIQUE WORKS EXTREMLY GOOD! hope this helpedd.

why are you guys all typing in caps.... it appears that your yelling and it is a eye sore.

I found on Craigslist a window ac for $75 that we use in our room and it helps alot. You may find one for free too. I would start there.

if you have a good inline exhaust fan and you have an air gap under your door (wich you should, it allows your door to shut) it will take the air from the outside of the linen closet and suck it up and you should have outside temps since the cfls dont get that hot, also get a small 6 inch fan, it could make a difference as well and the plants like it

you need an exhaust fan pulling air out of the closet with an passive intake vent. cfl's produce a lot of heat. If they are in an enclosed area without venting things get way too warm.
