I originally PMed with interest, but then looked up all of this equipment. That coupled with the triple posting, I'm pretty much out.

The equipment is crap and I hate multi-posters. I don't need to see this in every section.

its not a good deal anyway. if the bulb is a year old then its 6 months past due for replacement. you can buy a brand new air-cooled 400w hps for $140 with a warranty.

the only deal is in the shopping for free which i dont understand how you can ship a dehumidifier, ballast, cool tube, and carbon filter and still make a dime.

You can't buy a 400w for $140 that's of any kind of quality, but then this equipment isn't of any quality either.

I evaluated all of the equipment and realized it's the lowest grade, crappiest of everything. Obvious why he "gave up this hobby". Frustrating when you buy all garbage.

And really a 585 CFM fan for an air cooled 400w light? What was this in a fucking garage? Doesn't make any sense.

the shipping deal sounds fishy as well.

for 120 bucks you cant go wrong and 2 out of 2 times they were out of stock on mine so for 120 bucks i got a digital ballast system instead.

i can usually get 1000w hydrofarms and similar w/ air cooled hoods every late spring at my local shop used for about $80 used so i NEVER buy new lights. he has 400&600's for cheap in the fall too!

besides the fact that im really cool with the owner, in the spring he has a bunch of guys who trade thier hot 1000's for cooler 400's and 600's to run in the summer. then in the fall the same guys come back and get 1000's again.

i have 2 shops nearby and the other one is definetly NOT the place to go for equipment.

Yeah, that "HPS System" from HTG is complete garbage. A bat wing reflector, a low budget lamp and the worlds worst ballast?

I currently own 400w, 600w, and 1000w ballasts and lamps that I just swap around in my hood depending on the temperatures. In the winter I can run the hotter lights and in the summer I run the cooler lights so I can save on electricity and not ever have to run a portable A/C.

An air cooled reflector is definitely different than a bat-wing hunk of shit.

Crap equipment? Amazing it all worked great for me! The fan is overkill yes, but better to have too much power than not enough. Also got a larger fan than needed incase I ever wanted a more powerful light.

This equipment would cost you double what I'm asking if you went and priced it all new. Not to mention the other stuff I'm throwing in. I understand I'm losing money on this deal. Thats usually how it goes with stuff like this. I'm moving into a new place and need it gone though. So I'm forced to sell the stuff.

I just uploaded pictures of everything and found a few other misc things I can throw in when I ship.

The bulb was lit for 2-1/2 months. I did 18/6 for first 2 weeks, then 12/12 for the remainder. So the bulb is in need of no replacement yet!

The shipping will cost me around $100-$150 def. I didn't say I was making money on the deal, but I have to sell the stuff. I'm moving and need it gone. You can't sell the stuff for what it costs new anyways.

I still have my CFL lights, and also some t5's though. Might make use of the t5s on some of my planted aquariums.

Then I'm including a S&P fan that costs $157 new off the cheapest website I can find atm.

Would cost you $600 just to get the fan/ballast/bulb/reflector/carbon filter shipped to your door if you ordered today new online.

This stuff was used for a 2-1/2 month grow. I did 18/6 for 2 weeks, then hit the 12/12 right after. I'm done with the hobby for now, don't haev the time or place to continue it. So I'm looking to rid of the stuff and offer someone a good deal on it. Getting a complete package raedy to grow for $400 is a heck of a dael. Especially with all the nutrients, pots, grow bags, and other misc crap I'm throwing in.
