Grow Tent Idea, Clone before bud picking???

I would like to buy a double grow tent.

If I do, Im using the whole thing as one unit. Instead of having a vegetation to flowering cycle of like 6 to 8 plants, I want to power up a female plant and right before its ready to die, clone it and its offspring will live on and the mother will die. I might not be able to do this because mabye there is a certain time until you cannot any longer clone a plant. I would want to clone one minutes before i clip the buds...

I have cloned just after the pre-flowers showed, but that was only 14 days into
flower. I doubt you could convert them back to veg. with fully developed buds
on them, but you could try. You could possibly convert some of the less
developed branches back to veg.

Is there anyway you could partition off your room for dual chambers...that would
be the way to go.

I have never tried that far into flower...that close to harvest I have succesfully cloned plants which had true buds on the branches they do get screwed up looking but it seems to be working.

How far into 12/12 did you wait to take them, and how
well did they root/grow...

What do you mean by a dual chamber? Does that have to do with ventilation???

Well Iv never tried this yet, but I guess if I just opt for 2 grow rooms one could be veg room and one could be flower room


I dont know. All I want to do is grow atleast 8 budded plants of 3 feet each, in the fastest way possible.

Where would I place the mother plant and how do I manage a good routine with the output and input of new and harvested plants.

One chamber for propogation/vegetation and one for flowering.
Your veg. room only needs to be big enough to house some clones
while your flowering girls finish.
This is the rotation I have going in my closet right now, but
I do plan on housing some mothers, like you mentioned.
Once you have established strong fem. mother's, just let them
veg. at 24/0. Take clones whenever you need them, establish
roots, then send them to flower...like an SoG sorta...
