Grow Tent Planning

Hi all - My goal is to create a low-maintenance single-plant grow area in the crawl space under my house. This will be my first attempt at growing, and everything I know about it I've learned in the last two weeks. I've got about $800 to invest in the set up. Please take a look at this diagram I drew up and let me know if you have any suggestions. Anything I should do differently?

Thanks!

Suggest reading up on topping and supercropping. LST is good too but a SCROG is recommended. A 48” ceiling makes this harder. Even with LED.

Looks like a pretty solid plan, the only thing I can think of that you might need is some cal/mag. Did you list the medium for your net pot I didn't see it there.

edit: ok ya you did list the medium well than I think you got pretty much everything covered.

This is one time and one location that 12/12 from seed would be good. Easier to control height and heat. Install the SCROG at midway and grow the plant into it. Check recommended light distance before deciding to go higher. Still I would top and LST since you want minimal work.

Add: in my experience you should look at a chiller and not an aquarium heater.

Any benefits to going LST/SCROG over mainlining? I was keen on the idea of having 8 equal length colas all receiving the same amount of nutrients.

I was looking to add a chiller, but man are they pricey. Hoping that burying the res in the ground will keep it cool.

Will look into 12/12 for the whole cycle. Didn't know that was a thing.
