Grow tent vents

hey how is every one doing today?I have a grow tent and i need to tape the vents on the bottom closed. I have tried ductap and electrical tap yet both will only hold for about a week. Any suggestions would be apperciated.

what kind of grow tent do you have? do you have a pic of it?

Why do you need to tape it closed?

I need it closed during flowering because of smell and my inlet and exaust fans wont work proper if there is other ways that the air can get out of the tent. I also would be wasting alot of co2 if i leave the vents open.

Sew one side completely so it's like a flap. Then for the rest sew in some velcro pads. That way you can close it and open it without any hassle

or, just use velcro all the way around

Use the velcro tape. They make a heavy duty version. I wouldn't actually sew anything in the hut.

one thing i did in my tent is get some rubber squares a little bigger than the vent and epoxy them on the inside...it seals it up air tight

the two stick tape will work, but if u ever want to get it off it make take off the white coating.. good luck

ps you could also use foil tape.. very strong stuff there dude
