Long story short, somebody bought one new
And dropped it and it didn’t work after that.
One side worked the one with the dimmer knob. Took it apart fixed some broken soldering connections it works.
I want to buy a driver to run the other side or
New ones for each side Meanwell hlg , what one will run the half grower choice 680
I got it working but the drivers inside have plastic housing and there broke up I don’t want to use them even though they work right now.

sounds like a lot of damage for a “ drop “ ….

Did that “ someone “ ( *sideeye ) frisbee it off roof ?

I’m not sure what happened but off the roof was my first, like damnit boy.
0$ invested right now and I know the
LEDs work I just rather buy new drivers and hook it up myself. I’m fairly clever as I did get what I have working. It’s really bright too
I’m stoked. I just wanna get new drivers for it I’ll pay and then I’ll have a 680 for next to nothing but drivers and some of my time wires and all.

Replacing drivers ( mean wells ) are fairly easy to replace ( same drivers ) and they have a warranty on them anyways ( reach out to them for details ).
If boards are firing up properly and not missing strings you should be ok.

You can hook up KILL A WATT meter and test - see what watts are pulling and dimmer control readings. 100k pots are no biggie to replace either - most electronic shops or Amazon have them.

There is a pc board that connection to the drivers that runs along the housing,
There 4 drivers in each tube,
The wires broke off the board that connects them together. I just bypassed with some wires and soldered to the final out as be.
I mean it’s working on, I’d like to get
New drivers. Will hlg320 whatever run 3 strips??

Take some photos of the driver housing or wherever they print the specs. It should have dc output printed (amps and voltage). With this you can normally figure out replacement.

I got a trailer wire harness kit and some but connects, took it back apart and removed the
Jumper board completely. Ran new wires
With butt connects. Very solid connections
I’m happy with that for now. Hell of a deal.
Drivers say 45-60 volts /4 of them .
So now the only thing wrong is that the plastic mounts on the drivers are busted off and they
Are just setting in the tube. 5951F143-848D-4218-A240-4181862621A7.jpeg
