I just got home from the field . Been looking at it for a while , and today i decided to put only 1 seed in the soil (that was already there)

It wasent germinated .

Just poked a hole put the seed at some fresh water over it.

What do you think ? Should it grow ?

Well that's how marijuana grew for 1000s of years but they would also shoot out much more seeds than 1 lol.
There is a chance it will grow but I wouldn't count on it.

it could work....

but your chances are slim due to little rodents and rabbits and whatnot. they love fresh seedlings.

i put mine out after thier about 2 weeks old. check my grow out.

Checked out your grow prior to this actually, and im following it. It's awesome, all natural!

Dude I was wondering, if I were to start my'n inside, could I plant them in a paper-cup and leave them in there for 2 weeks, or does it have to be something bigger then a paper cup.

I've seen Starlings eat corn shoots as soon as they appear in a corn field. I've seen Sparrows and Jays do the same in a vegetable garden. A slug will destroy a seedling in short order.

A rabbit needn't eat it. Just stepping on the baby will do the trick.

A healthy six inch plant is the smallest I'd put in "the wild".

A light chicken wire fence will dissuade most smaller critters.

To give you an idea of what you can do if they are started inside, hardened to the outside, and then planted, I submit for your approval, my little girls. How does this look to you? these were started for a month indoors, and have been outside for almost another month. Here in Colorado, early spring can have some very cold nights, and thus their growth was stunted for a while. They do have another 4-5 months of growing season though, so should become monsters.

I went ahead and did this except I germinated the seeds first, about a mounth ago..planted about 20 in random places...8 grew succesfully past a week..this place has much wildlife: rabbits, foxes, birds, etc....well 3 of them have survived so far and are adults now and the rest I assue got ate...so 3 out of 20 with this method not bad.

so without germinating and without using good soil...and using only 1 seed...you got about a 5% chance maybe? something like that? not bad..
