Started two new plants recently, noticed that my seedling in the clear solo cup is growing much more rapidly than the one I started in the non-clear solo cup. Only difference is the cups and the genetics, the big plant is Strawberry Banana Grape, the smaller one is Bruce Banner. Photos are from Day 11. Started germinating 5/30, seeds went into the soil 6/2. Happy frog soil for both, under same light (Spider Farmer LED), received the same amount of water so far. Also weird that the smaller guy is burnt (happy frog already has nutes in it) vs. the bigger guy.
The bigger plant is in a cup where the roots are exposed to the light... do you think that is having an impact here? Or is it just genetics?
