I used coco a lot , I did not like how the roots liked to go to the bottom only and not really grow "in" the medium. I did get a lot of good harvests out of it though.

awesome, its my 1st coco grow,in my previous grows i used ffof with ok results,so i have read that the most important thing is ph when growing in coco,...now were you using cloth pots or plastic?

I ran three Dutch trays ( long rectangles) on 3 separate reservoirs, in a flood system. I was harvesting every 3 weeks under 1 light in a 4x4 tent. Coco was pretty stable ph wise for me. One good soak in ph'ed water set them straight before a plant even hit the mat.

Nope. A good system runs it's self. I might take some time to get it there but that is experience. Most of the rooms I have run turn into a very systematic thing. Every week the same steps. You know something is wrong when that system gets out of wack.

Use nutrients that are made for coco. Run your ph at 6 to 6.5. Coco does great potted in flood drain tables. Other than that its like any other soilless medium.
