The e mail thing is what bothers me. Post count don't mean chit, to me.

That one I cut is getting a bit of flavor, beyond lawn clippings, as it slow dries. I may cut the other 2 due to a bit a cold predicted. Snow is predicted for Sun night/Mon morning... We had a cold snap last year, too. Didn't make 30`F and people's pipes were freezing up during the DAY. I ended up wet from helping with a problem at the park across the street. For today 80` and will enjoy it while it lasts.

Not much to show. Hardly enough to call a "harvest". A handful, maybe. More like a tease. The one I featured, in most of my photos, got 1 bud cut. Two days in to the dry/cure, it smells like sweet watermelon. Still to fresh to smoke. The stem hasn't dried..it's still plump, and it will be a couple more days until it gets dry enough to burn properly. I'll take a few shots of the plant and drying bud. It's kind of pretty, small, but...a hint of red/purple in the calyxes and red veins showing through the trichs on the little leaves.

Here ya go. Think I need to cut the rest of it...pretty ripe

and don't know how much longer I can go with commercial Mex when I'm looking at/tasting this. This one is going to get a reveg and with a decent season, should be very good. This plant is only about 3 1/2 months old...and hardly grown in ideal conditions. She gets cold nightly. I mean like 40`F cold. And in the shortest days of the year. She would have done much better starting her in Sept/Oct instead of the end of Nov.

Bagseed Sativa?? Looks like it. Burnt celery and carrot soup flavor?

Smoke report, Azoned!

I'll snap a pic in a bit.

Edit: for you guys:
I'm a terrible photographer bud there should be a good one in there - fresh if you can't tell. Two different buds - the one turned reallllly dark and the other one kind of just faded. The last couple pics are with the high def off and the flash on.

Bagseed Mexican and aside from a size difference, our plants look pretty similar. The fan leaves on the plant this bud came from are green breaking purple. The sacrificial plant 's leaves turned black a long time ago. Healthy, fleshy and black. Mugans are coming nice. I have some the same age. Showed sex and I think that all I'm gonna get until fall. Nothing like a good 10 month old. They do get better with age. The little buds I'm farting around with right now are just a tease. I expect a 2 or 3X improvement with the long season under their belt. Not to mention some trees.
Here's a closer view...all the same bud, different light. 1 and 2 are more natural. Please to excuse the cat hairs. Still waiting for her to dry a bit more. Flavor? This one is smelling like sweet watermelon and the bit I stole last week was very sweet with a bit of pine.
The plant that is being sacrificed to save this one and greenie has a very mild flavor after the clorophyll taste [burnt celery?] cured out [carrot soup?]. Has a nice zippy buzz and isn't bad, just not as good. Better have some mindless tasks to occupy yourself, it will get you busy.
Took a test cut from greenie.....mama mia, that's a spicy meatball!!!! Not much to look at, as she's still immature but FUUUUCCCCKKKK... and has a bit more than a kick. Got fur behind my eyes on the first hit. And she's gonna need another month to mature. Definitely another keeper. This one has a different flavor, but can't really describe it. It should be easier as it becomes more distinct with age.greenie.jpg

Damn, that is some dark hairy stuff.

*excuses the cat hairs*

Looks real good, I bet it has one of those 'mota"vating highs - straight sativa almost.

Yeah - size difference indeed - mine were full sun, but I only got a quarter or so off each plant - that's what I get for starting them in December.

The winter buds bud better - almost no rain - almost no bugs too - I'm starting to prefer the winter buds to the fall ones. Bud of course it's outdoor.

Hahaha, today is day 6 no smoking. I'm starting to get the hang of it. Walking into my room and smelling that stuff drying sent my head spinning a lil' bit, but it's all good - I was almost seduced.

Only bug prob I have is grasshoppers. They girdle the branches and you get "samples" dry on the vine. It sux. Rain/humidity is not a problem. If we get ANY, it's a blessing. 20in prec/yr average.
I very much prefer fall harvest. Those buds I'm showing are on plants that are 14wk old! My personal experience only, but none of my early spring plants were near as good as the ones got to grow the summer.
