Thanks dude. When i first started this grow i was planning on seeing whether topped plants or untopped plants produced more amounts of bud so i was going to top half the plants and see what happened. But i figured i wouldnt have enough room for 5 topped plants and 5 untopped plants in my space.

Looks nice. Do they smell bad?
No they do not smell too bad yet. I keep the fan on them during the hours of light and the fan is off during the night. But when the fan is off while i start to take pics they do smell. If you are trying to figure out a cheap way to cover the smell put a dryer sheet behind a fan and the air coming from the fan will be fresh and make your grow area smel great.

Ah, so you don't have a carbon filter then?

Very clever sheet/fan setup, btw. Thanks for the advice. I'd love to see some more pictures of your setup, if you don't mind

Nope no carbon filter. I am really just growing in my closet on a shelfing unit with no walls so its really out in the open. the shelving unit was like 30 bucks at walmart. I havent looked into carbon filters really so i dont know if i could use one with my setup. I just have my fan sitting on a closet shelf and the intake sucks the dryer sheet to the fan. I change the dryer sheet every other day. Heres some pics for you. Thanks for the question too.

Alright... now we are getting somewhere. Its kinda hard to imagine that ill have some weed to harvest in about a month.....hopefully. I can def. tell a difference since last week and the difference is good....lol. More hairs coming and in new places as well. I hope that by the end of this week ill see the bud under the hairs fatten up.

I think in my last watering i put too much MG in my water because some of the fan leaves started getting yellow and brown on the tips. But i watered again today with plain water so the extra nutes should be pretty diluted. And also i tripped a few side colas on RIta Skeeter so i could make it easier for all the plants get more light overall.

Other than that there is nothing much else happening. Really just playin the waiting game....which SUCKS!!! Enjoy the pics...there are lots. I kinda got carried away. Peace, Love, and Green!!!

Over watered and overfed. Bigtime. Of course it is possible that you have been severely underwatering, but its not likely. An underwatered plant will droop just the same as an overwatered one. The curling leaves are from overfeeding with N.>

And you've got a couple there that have signs of heat stress.
The little jagged leave edges turned up >

You've already got hairs changing from white to brown/red. Its a little early for this to be happening and its caused by the less than ideal conditions you have. water/fert/heat stresses.
You're doing pretty good but improvements could be made. Just calling it like I see it.
Good luck.

Yeah im sure you got it on point. I really think that the MG screwed that shit up mostly. I decided to do like hlf a cap per gallon when i usually do loke a 1/4 cup. But since they looked so bad i just gave them reg. water so hopefully things will straighten out and get back up to pace. Did a bit of trimming you coulod say too. Thanks for the advice bro man!

Yup, that'll do it. Chemical ferts like the ones in MG are very strong. It doesn't take much to overdo it. A plant will absorb any and all chemical fertilizers first. Only after they're all gone will it start to use any organic nutrients present in the soil. So if there are chemical nutes in the soil the plant has no choice but to soak them up, even if they're too strong. Thats how/why plants get "burned" with chemical ferts. On the other hand, with organic fertilizer the plant can leave or take whatever it needs/wants.

Rita Skeeter is the tallest plant, yet the most stretched at 24 1/2" tall and 8" wide. Her Hairs are the thinnest of all the plants and her buds the smallest. She used to have lots of side colas at the bottom that i thought had potential but were barely growing anything. So i decided to take off the side buds and focas the light elsewhere. She has also been straightened up a little with some spider wire.

After trimming the side colas off i was able to rearange my lights and they seem to be in more effective places. I think it was the best decision made for the group as a whole. You know what im sayin?

Here are some pics of the new and improved RITA SKEETER. Peace, Love , and GREEN!!!

this is awesome. i got some seedlings grown right now, I am about to set up the lights and pots tomorrow.
Thanks bro! Yeah it is amazing at what you can grow with some seeds from some shitty mids. These plants look like they are going to turn out like some dank shit dude! How far along are you in your grow?

Things have been more on the downside this week but i think things should pick up soon! The nutes i added that burned the plants went at it again the next time i watered even though i only watered with plain water. Lots of leaves started to curl and turn brown on the ends. So to solve that i flushed the plants today for about 3 minutes. Hopefully things will turn around soon. The buds didnt do much growing i guess cause of the nute burn.

I am now currently running 470 watts. That kinda surprized me so i should hopefully end up with some good results. I also tied the girls up to steaks this week because they were starting to lean pretty bad.

I took laots of pics but i am only putting up the good ones lol. Enjoy! Peace, Love, and Green:blsmoke:

you've done a nice job with cfls, a nice job. Nice journal too. Very disiplined. Those "mids" will be anything but...

Good Job!!! I'm sure it will turn out great!!!
Not that good of a job really. Probably did not turn out so great. If it turned out great we would probably have an update with pictures showing that greatness. Part of the problem was too many people saying "great job" when it really wasn't. I understand. It's not as fun to tell someone that they are doing a bad job, but it is more beneficial to them. At least if its the truth.:wall:
