Growing outdoor strains indoors

I am growing an outdoor strain indoors along with an indoor strain. the indoor strain is developing much faster, and i was wondering if anyone knew how long an outdoor strain takes to flower in a indoor hydro system.

has anyone ever grown an outdoor strain indoors? how long did it take to harvest?
thanks

haven't done it myself, watched some grow logs of some outdoor strains inside
watching a nice grow of purple widow under a 1000w hps, very nice looking
really depends on the specific strain, and the luck of the draw on the pheno
i think it's about space and lighting, if you have enough space and light, probably grow just about any strain inside

yeah, but what i want to know is if it takes longer for outdoor strains to mature indoors .

it matters because if they dont finish on time than i am gonna have a back up in my flower room causing to me to fall behind schedule, and i cant have that!

anyone? these outdoor strains get HUGE. they are much taller and spread out, if that makes sense. they are bushier but not thicker. but they take up way too much room! and i think they are gonna finish way later than this strain of Ultimate i got going

i would call an outdoor strain a sativa so yes they do take longer, ive seen plants on here go 14 weeks until ripe,

say a good indoor plant would be more of an indica/hybrid they can finish by 8 weeks:bigjoint:

:peace:

sounds like you have an outdoor strain growing now?
what strain is it? like tamjam mentioned, some take a very long time
but i don't think it takes any longer indoors, that's genetics once you send it into flower
actually, you should be able to finish sooner since you can send it into flower whenever you choose
not something you can do outdoors easily

i cant remember the name of the strain that the guy i got the clones from said it was because i didnt recognize it at all and it was a very strange and exotic sounding name. it started with a "d". thats all i remember.

sucks if it will take up to 14 weeks. i havnt the time for that as i have another crop i want to start in the next month. the buds still look very very stringy on the outdoor strains. you can still see through the main colas to the stem. but the Ultimate i have going is already very dense and looks like what i have done in the past. i am weary that i will not have time to let the outdoor strains mature properly and i will loose most of a harvest that way. which sucks a lot. but i have some white widows i just cloned that look amazing. way better than the clones i got off this other dude. those clones were taken from plants already in flowering and were in bad condition. these white widows are gorgeous and i rather just move on to them than wait around up to 5 more weeks.

'd' hmm? any chance it was dalat?(maybe dhalat)
but sounds like your typical outdoor, tropical sativa
heard many a fustrating story about trying to ripen these beasts indoors
