Growing seeds

i'm sick of shelling out $80 a year on seeds so growing them is this years project. i had 3 males out of 4 seeds, all dwarf autos. so the female has been pollinated and i saved the rest of the pollen. what i want is to make a strain of these small plants with a full sized white widow and a ss haze to create a medium sized auto. just wondering how long before the seeds will form? the white hairs have gone dark and the calyxes are getting fat. i'm hoping to get another planting this year outside if the seeds just get finished. i have heard various ways to store pollen. i put some in a tiny jar after drying with some desacant, then that into a zip lock into the freezer after a day in fridge. the rest i have in a paper envelope on sill to dry. my ww and ssh plants are just about to send out white hairs so i am hoping the pollen will still be good in a few weeks. i will then be independent from the seed sellers and can share seeds with friends. any help appreciated. j

Surely someone can answer this question. I read that pollen cannot be stored..that it goes bad fast. I have a friend who keeps cloning his male so that once he needs it all he has to do is take it to 12/12. Some breeds don't clone so easy after the flower stage, some will go directly to producing balls just after rooting. That is my limit on knowledge on this subject and I too am trying to grow some seeds because Im tired of old C99 seeds with crap for vitality. I don't get why some seeds like Sensi, Serious, DNA, will keep even if kept at room temp for 3 years while having a jack herer / AK47 cross (Sweet seeds) were monsters when I received them but after just 18 months of refridgeration they were worthless (FYI Sweet had a killer AK47 in their breeding stock...HAD as in past tense.
