Growing Seems Impossible to me

These plants are PISSING ME OFF! I can't even grow anything without having a problem occur. I had gnats with my other plants and they didn't recover. Now I keep getting these little spots on the new plants I've started. What can this be? This shit is so stressful. I have a 600w hps running 24 hours. I can't close up the grow tent because it gets too hot in there. Since it's open I get all types of crane flies, moths, flies and other shit coming in and just making a mess, so I have to vacuum them up.

The garage I'm growing in gets hotter than outside during the summer and freezing in the winter.

Here are some pics of my plants. PLEASE help me!!

ok settle down now you can grow it is not impossible. if you been had gnats as bad as it sounds you probably been over watering a lot, feel the weight of the pot it shold feel light when it is time to water. you need a new grow space. Ive grown in a hot garage, you need a seperate room with an air conditioner/ heater or you will not be able to control temps. you need to beable to control temps. start in smaller pots after a week above ground transplant up after week 3 transplant into final pot, yor soil will dry quicker if it is being used by the plants roots and will be less likley to get gnats. don't feed it nutes for the first month, most soil will support growth once your better at it you can play with nutes. fix those problems first than come back if it does not solve your your issues

I GROW GREAT GANJA

All I can say is your issues are certainly environmental. Get some Azomax foliar spray, nothing will touch your plants. Fix the soil...what the heck is it anyway? Have you been using nutes as well? I am guessing you have your tent in the garage for a reason but that is a huge issue if you are not able to properly vent and cool your plants with the door closed. I also grow with an open tent but mine is in my room.

Bro you are cooking the plants in your hot garage with the 600 far too close combined with the shit hot temps. Raise the light at least a foot also buy a cooltube and prob triple your final weight. In winter when its freezing, maybe ok for flowering but not vegging ,it will have to be 75-80.

Thanks for the reply. It's actually beach sand to repel gnats from breeding.

^Probably over watering. Your soil looks like sand-like dirt. Your soil needs aeration. Usually perlite is added to the soil to accomplish this.

I'll have a look at the spray, thanks.

The soil is some really good organic stuff I picked up at home depot, the stuff on top is sand lol.

I have an oscilating fan inside the tent, but that doesn't really cool the tent if it's closed. I get maybe 32 celsius with the tent flap open, and 42 celsius if it's closed. I don't close the tent anymore, because of heat issues, but these damn bugs keep getting in and crashing the party for the plants.

is it crucial to have one of those aluminium tube thingies in the tent? I have a window with a fan attached to it which brings in cool air and the tent flap is open for ventilation.

Thanks!

It's gotten worse since I made this thread.

Any cheap ways of cooling your tents?

BTW I checked on my tent today and I had to vacuum 4 mosquito-looking bugs, couldn't tell what they were, but do you think they would pose a threat on the plants?

I had no problem growing under fluorescent lights in a closet :(

you dont have a better space than a garage like a closet looks like your only trying to grow a few plant i would move them to a smaller area than a garage controlling temps and bugs out there is gonna be difficult.

how is your setup is the light air cooled, tent size. you need help i can see that but your not offering as much info as needed, you plants are definitely over watered(why your gnats are staying), fungus gnats an thier eggs/larvae are very weak, get some permethrin or pyrethrin spray ( fox farms dont bug me is a good choice spray lightly rinse off afterwards or risk burning your babys spray w/ lights off) the sad is fine but it does mean youll need to water even less since it is on the top retaining moisture.

dont get pissed off after years of battling spider mites i dont thing you have the right to be pissed off yet. :)

flouros put out a lot less heat honestly if you still have the flouros you would put them in there till your plants get larger they dont need 600w of light quite yet.

You need an exhaust fan in there and to put the tent in a cooler Room than the garage and fix the problems I said in my first post you cannot cool a tent with hot air it just won't work

42, Oh hell naw, keep that shit open XD
If you don't want to spend fuck all, make a cooltube yourself, it's real easy, You need to buy a beaverage in a 2 liter glass bottle, then using strings, acetone, you can snap off the ends, making the bottle basically a tube. Just attach the thingy where you screw the buld, add the aluminium tubes and fan/s, temp drop guaranteed.
This is what you need to do first. When temps are about 25-27, you can start thinking about the soil/watering/nutes.
Calm down, these plants are hardy, and with some love they will recover and give you lotsa bud. good luck.
P.S. about the strings and acetone, search google "glass bottle cutting"

If your looking to run a light without proper cooling and air filtering the only one i can say is a 250w or lower, anything from a 400w onwards you will need these things...i know because i have tried both, could maybe get away with a couple of fans with a 400.
in regard to your plants i think the soil you have put them in is why you are seeing this.. a young plant in a half decent soil shouldnt have anything but darkish green leaves.
good luck mate that's my opinion anyways

Can someone help, I recently begin my first DWC experience and have had a blast doing it. My Veg was awesome and I switched to flower about 2 weeks ago, 2 days ago I changed my reservoir and yesterday notice a slight wilt, thinking that I might have over feed I allowed nature to take its course and continue on, then this afternoon I notice a few more wilts, but leaves were leafy green, so I checked the reservoir and noticed no bubbles, I traced the line back and found the hose accidentally out of the pump by the check valve, I plugged it back it an oxygen is now back in the water, I just need some sort of reassurance that my plant will survive, it's only a few wilts but I was just a tad worried, will my plant be ok
