I started this one July 3rd. It's just shy of 1 foot tall, and growing like crazy lol. Thanks for looking man!!

How many of us dumb stoners decided to grow in the beggining of july lol, may's best time to start, but i guess indoors doesnt matter..

Anyway i also started my plants in july, july 11th to be exact and my 10 guys are also on a low budget (one 250 metal halide, with 4 small cfls) and they actually look similar to yours.

nice looking plant, i like the tinfoil idea, i think ill use that so i dont waste any light, plus it seems like youll get bushier plants with light coming from underneath too!
will watch ur plants grow :weed: my journel is in my signature

Thought about switching that tin foil over to mylar? Where can you get mylar? Why not a ballon. Many places sell mylar Balloons. Cut one open use the inside as the upside. Other places have it in sheets and stuff.

As im sure you guys know foil can give your babies a little heat rash or burn if your not careful

Thanks for the comments guys!! The tin foil was cheap and very handy for me at the time. I ran out of mylar on my last grow and failed to get any. So far I have had ZERO problems with the foil, and you see what I have came out with so far.

I am working on getting a couple more 2700k cfls for her next week. I just recently added the tinfoil to the bottom to see if there is a difference in flowering vs non tinfoil on the bottom. Only bad thing is the mold chances are higher this way, gotta keep fresh air under there, so when I go to turn lights on I usually lift it up about an inch to let air flow in underneath. And yes us dumb stoners starting in July lol..I had another plant that I had started in march and had a feeling she was going to be some bomb ass indica, but buddy of mine insisted on putting in the eggshells, well thats a NONO for outside, unless you want critters digging around. Damn moles....

I'm very happy with it so far, and hope to be harvesting in another 7 weeks :D As always, check back daily for updates and pics...

i also subscribed, i think ill be eventually subscribing to the rest of the low-budget-july-growers, im especially interested in seeing which one of our methods is the best at producing? heavy/quality bud. Have you guys found any cheap bug solutions? i a have only a few very small nibbles on my plants but i fear an attack on a larger scale...., fixed my signature url.

oh and dude go to Kmart, ask them for power timers, you can buy a timer and set your lights so you only need to go down to water! plants grow faster on an consistent light schedule, my timer just plugs into the outlet and u set how long you want darkness for. costs only 9.99! really good investment, doesn't matter if your not home for a day or if you forget the lights.
