Growroom 4'11"x4'11"x6'7" dual 400 watt HPS/MH

I got a Secret Jardin darkroom its 4'11 x 4'11" x 6'7" I got a dual HPS/MH lamps each bulb is 400 watt. I want to grow using both at the same time. air cooled lamp reflector, carbon filter. I was wondering how many plants i can fit in that space and maxium size pots to use, is my lite setup over kill? How much could these plants produce in a room that size? Thanks

probly 15 or 20 maybe what kinda setup "soil, hydro,areo"?

So you have a dual 400 ballast with 2 seperate 400 watt bulbs each in there own reflector correct? Not just a standard switchable ballst with one reflector. Sounds cool i have only seen dual ballasts in 600 watts before. Would you say it puts off less heat then 2 seperate ballasts?

Yes they are both bulbs in one reflector at 400 watts each, so total 800 watts combined, I have not tried it yet, waiting for my roommate to move out so I can set this up in a room, in a grow room 5x5x7. I will post pictures of the complete setup

Its going to be soil. i would like to fit at leat 16 pots in there, 10 inch pots

try grow bags, i switched from pots and i'm never going back.

with 10 in'ers you should be able to fit that many in their but damn man thats a lot of heat those are going to be putting off

I'm thinking of taking the intake of the tent and hooking up to a small A/C unit, the A/C unit will take another 300-500 watts. How much wattage do I need to increase to alarm the power company? Any ideas?

What do you like about the grow bags? I was thinking of fitting 16 10"x10" pots about 3 gallons in a 5x5x7 grow tent. Is 16 to many?

i have the same tent for my mothers and would recomend square 1.75 gal pots and u can fit 24 no prob even 3o.Mine are in a "n" shape,that way i can move inside easily and tend to them.They have 4oo w over them will soon have 2 x 4oo L,R sides.
I want to flower in this so bad,gotta throw moms into flower!Cheers Hbr
