Growtent in a closet - closed a few hours a day?

Hello.

I want to know if this can be done, what I do need to make it work or if its beating a dead horse.

I want to set up a 9cft grow tent inside a 130cft closet/wardrobe that I cant add ventilation out of. Its built inside the building and not much I can do about it, right now atleast.

16 hours per day I can keep the closet open and help it exhaust with an oscilating fan and keep refreshing the air - however, even if I own my place I dont want to leave it open when Im at work - 8 hours per day.

Can I make this work with ACs, humidifiers and what not? Leaving the light off during this hours, i dont know.

Im very sceptic however, ive seen small grows work inside closets before, but more like micro grows.

Closets make great grow environments but you have to ventilate. Most people just cut a hole in the ceiling or wall to vent the air out using a vortex fan.

If air exchange is what you worry about, you just need to intake air from outside the closet,i.e using ducting and a small inline fan.
exhaustion could be made outside the tent and in the closet with the door slight cracked open, using a carbon filter ofcourse.

Yes, its the air exchange im worried about.

Im pretty certain I cant make a hole in the ceiling or the wall. The only thing I think is possible it buying a new door with ventilation and add fans pushing out air, however I feel like that is a last resort.

I want the door shut and locked when Im not home. You never know what could happen when im not at home.

I guess shutting it for 8 hours, doesnt matter if its "day or night", is gonna kill the plants eventually, yes?

I would just grow in the bedroom and sleep in the closet. If your growing in a closet because you have to keep it more hidden, make sure you are very careful with the smell. Even get a non smoking friend to go around and make sure they can not smell it. People that smoke and grow are a lot more immune to the smell.

I have overdimensioned the carbon scrubbers, hopefully that will keep it in check. Moving the grow around has come to my mind, but its not something id like to do if its not the very last resort.

If its possible to keep it where it is and make it work, I dont care if it needs AC, humiditycontrol and co2 release.

I have to keep it konda stealth and a big ventilationhole in a door to a "walk in"-closet would be very hard to explain.

Edit -

When I read that plants cant use co2 during the night it kinda makes me wonder how important fresh air would be during this time.

The air is going to move around inside both the tent and the closet. Temperature and humidity is not a problem, only "fresh" air during workhours.
