Not so lucky now. Gave all my girls a nice shot of growth hormone (giberellic acid, cytokins, and buytric acid) Almost every one of them are growing balls now.
man, what a mistake. what can a person do to salvage a harvest. been picking them off as much as i can. what can i expect out of this screw up? poor yield?
never had this happen before. advice is very much appreciated.

That sucks. Yeah, poor yield, if not all seeds if one of those pollen sacks makes it.

Dutch Masters "REVERSE" is supposed to help. Do a forum search... the reviews are mixed.

I read in a couple of places that some breeders apply a foliar GA3 treatment to stress flowering plants into hermaphrodism .. you might know the resulting product as FEMINIZED seed. Worst case.... you get a bunch of feminized seed, [some might see this as a good case scenario] and a bunch of smoke that goes down smoother in the form of brownies.

thank you both for responding. devastated by what happened. possible to reverse? that would be awesome, but i missed some of the balls and now i noticed some are already making seed. unbelievable how much bud appears to be lost to balls. terrible. the more i try to pick them out, i think it may be spreading the pollen through my fingers.
i was figuring on getting a lb. out of 15 girls started from seed july 1. now i don't know what to expect. maybe a qp. total. ?

Shitty, I had to cut down a 9 foot beauty this year that showed female for the first two weeks then turned hermie on me. Would've gotten 1+ lbs from the one plant alone but at least I got rid of it right away. It was too close to my 10 foot female.

LOL, giberellic acid, is what they use to create feminized seeds. It's applied to branch/s of full female plants, intentionally forcing them to produce pollen sacs. Then they use that pollen to pollinate other mother plants, producing only female seeds.

Which encourages hermaphrodites in the progeny! Congrats!
