H2o2!?!?!

I have a small hydro op running. Whats h2o2 good for?

cleaning your set up between grows using 29%... some folks use it in small quantities to keep bacteria etc at bay in their res'. I suggest you start lookin through some threads on h202.

Where can I find these threads?

I would probably go to that thing up near the top corner.... its got a magnifying glass beside it.... some call it a 'search box'. Its like magic, you put some key words like h202, or hydrogen peroxide, or.... and hit 'search'. Then the oddest thing happens.... it displays a whole bunch or threads with the keywords you have put in to seach for. Or, if that sounds far too difficult, you could try some called 'google'. There, you may want to put into the 'search box' something like 'what is hydrogen peroxide used for in marijuana growing', or 'hydrogen peroxide in hydroponics'.... the point here is to do SOME of the leg work yourself. Buy a book, search and read and repeat. ....and don't get the 29% on your skin... it hurts like a mutha-fucka.

Cleaning your system is one way of using h2o2,another way is to actually adding it to your resivoir,but be extremly cautious and careful when using it.1 it will burn the hell out of you if you get it on your hands (wear gloves and i guess eye gear is a good idea too,it does splash when pouring).2.By adding it to your resivoir to up your o2 level in the H20.But,keep in mind that H2o2 is really going for perfection with your grow and not for a begginner and make sure that all of your other factors are met,before using it and if you add too much you could possibly kill your grow.If using organic nutes you may not want to use H2o2 cause it will kill off some of the micro orginisms that you want your plants to absorb.
I would only use if using chemical nutrients only.I would suggset that you use an eyedropper to add your 29%H2o2.Its powerful stuff,I would go 5 to 7 drops per gallon of H2O.Hope this helps and good luck

other than for sterilization i wouldnt use it. if you need more oxygen use an air stone with an air pump. if you have algae there is too much light on your resevoir, if you have non beneficial bacteria clean more. people use it though, you should probably stick to basics for now.
