That's the way I'll cure it except I don't want to freeze it. I think the best cure is out of the light and at room temp or just a bit cooler. I do put cured material in the bottom of the fridge to help preserve it.

Yesterday, I lowered the 250 w to 12" and today I lowered it down to 10" from the tips. I have been hanging it way to high and that's why my buds are stretching (whispy). I have it right in their faces now. I put the 6" fan between the plant tops and the hps, and the 12" oscillating fan moving across the tops. The plant tips sem cool so that's all good so far.
These babies are taking a long time and I think it'll be another week. My fault due to the mistakes I have made. I will get some good bud off these so it's okay. I'm learning a lot on my first hydro grow and the next one should be better, I hope.
I'm going to put up pix Sunday as usual...lots of plumping colas to show!

Getting some amber so now I have started to flush them this week. I am just giving them 5.8-6.2 pH'd water now... 50% tap/50% ro'd..no nutes at all until I chop them...gonna finish this grow pretty soon.

I also changed the timer from 12/12 to 15/9 so the buds will use the remaining sugars out of the leaves and it should also produce more resin.

Thats what i like to hear man. What day of flower are u at? Im at around day 41 or something. The violator kush flowering time is 55-65 days. Cant wait to see the pics tommorow

Here's an update of my grow stats & I'll post pix tomorrow as usual:
02/07: MY GROW SETTINGS FOR 11th WEEK OF FLOWERING & 14 WEEKS OLD FROM SEED:
Lighting - 250 w hps, 4-100 w cfl, 1-150 w cfl and the AG 3 light hood all set on 15/9 timers.
AG Pro200 - set now on Tomatoes.
4" airstone running 24/7
6" fan ON. Blowing between light & plant tops.
10" oscillating fan blowing on leaves 24/7
Air temp range- 68-78 (Okay)
Humity range - 28-31 (Good)
Water temp - 70-73
Ph - 5.8 - 6.2 Keeping water acidic. I hear lots of AG grows get root root so I'm keeping it in the lowest range possible without locking out nutes.

11th WEEK OF FLOWERING & 14 WEEKS OLD FROM SEED. This grow should have gone faster but I had my lights to high and my pH was to low. Lots of newby mistakes I wont make. My next grow is in a SH Bubbleponics 6 pod systen with HID lighting

[/quote]These are almost done. Seems like an eternity since I started them from seed on Nov 1st.
One week more..... I may start taking the buds that are ready and wait on the others. They are not all going to finish at the same time. My next grow is going to be so much better now that I've learned all this new stuff. This is my first hydro grow.

Yeah, I'm anxious as well. I got this SH Bubbleponic set-up in a box in my basement. I'm going to sprout in the AG and veg them to 5-6" before I put them into it. I think the AG will be excellent for that too. You think?

I've been reading the Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics thread that Roseman hosts. That whole setup is way cheaper than our AG's. I think it was like $99 & I paid another $10 for the drain plug. The package even included nutes, air & water pump, the distribution hub, tubing, bubble stone, pots, plugs, etc, everything except lights.
I have the lights so I think I'm good to grow & you would be too. Something to ponder down the road.....haha

I trimmed some top budz just a minute ago and took before & after shots of the girls with their new haircut. I think since my grow is so crowded, I'm going to chop them down bit by bit and see if the lower buds will blow up as well. We should all be able to benefit from my little experiment. I used to do this with some success way back in the day in dirty closet grows.
This is getting to be tremendous fun now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me it's a giant step up. I'd like to do like 2 grows/yr and get all I need. This is a ton of fun but it really ties me down with the water topping and all. I'm afraid to come home late...like if I had a jealous wife..hahahahahah

I messed up this grow by putting the lights to high. My buds are wispy. I hung my 150 w hps up about 18", I think....STUPID NEWBY.... I started this 250 hps at the same hight....VERY STUPID... Now, my 250 is about 9" away from the tops and even at this late stage I notice a lot of growth. Maybe It'll tighten them up. Next grow I'll know better what to do...It's great to have all you guys and this site for support & information.
