Nice plant!
I'm hoping they will all mature about the same time. Maybe I can let a few continue until the rest are done. Hope so anyway. As I mentioned, I was surprised they were all female and was expecting to remove some males for more room.

Luck or a curse. Makes me wonder if the other half of the seeds are male. Maybe they sent me femmed seeds cause it was my first order? There is no way to tell by looking at the package. Who knows.

Should be great for clones. Doing a whole grow is a lot of work since this thing is so small but, if you just want a personal stash and have the time to check on them daily, it's a great way to grow.
 
I definitely agree with u there Hairy.. Not much werk to it. The AG pretty much does everything for u. Even lets u know when to add water and nutes. U have to be a complete retard to fuk up an AG grow. It takes very lil maintenance and in 3-4 months u will have urself some nice quality smoke for urself. Patience is a virtue though with the AG. Wait and dont pik buds let it grow and mature and then dry it and cure it. If u smoke it before its dried and cured u are wasting 3 months of hard earned time and money and the weed isnt even potent until after it is dried. U will become discouraged and upset. Wait it out and u will have some of the best bud around ur area. Trust me i learned from my mistakes. I smoked fresh cut buds from my first harvest and honestly it tastes like ur smokin out of a vapor machine but u dont even get a buzz. U can barely see smoke coming out of ur mouth and the blunt or weed geos out every dam hit from being so dam wet. I aint making any mistakes on this harvest ill keep smoking the shitty weed thats around until my shit is completely cured and dried. Im not even wasting 1 gram or even 1 tiny bud. Gonna make it good to the last drop like folgers.. Wheres the new pics HAiry??

I wouldn't say there isn't a lot of work involved or that only a retard could screw it up. The AG is a good place to start, but it still takes a lot of work to bring in a decent harvest. The AG has its own unique challenges: replacing the stock nutrients, additional lighting, airstones, etc. Because of its small size, it also requires more regular maintenance: readjusting CFLs, refilling the reservoir frequently, checking pH/ppm, etc. I can also think of a million ways a non-retard could screw it up: not checking pH, leaving the AG unattended for a few days, CFLs falling on the plants--plenty can go wrong. I think it involves just as much, if not more work than other methods of growing. That being said, the AG still rocks!!

I'm running really low now and I am very tempted to do a taste test or two. Your post is kinda convincing me to tough it out a few more weeks. Seems like an eternity right now.

As you know I've had some problems with my grow from time to time. Everythings going great the past week or two though. The AG is good for a small personal stash but it is not a set it and forget it type effort. Between changing the tank weekly and topping it off 2x/day not, it does take some work.

Im not saying there is no work at all. Im saying that there is very lil maintenance. U need to add water every other day unless ur flowering maybe everyday. The AG blinks red lights when its low on water and nutes. Theres not much to do at all really. Add water and check ph. Not every1 changes the rez and if u have ur lights on a timer u need to do even less. I havent had a fan circulating on my violator kush this whole second grow. I am tryin to keep the temperature as high as possible since its like 5 degrees outside and i get a pretty nice cold breeze in that closet. i Keep the closet door cracked to circulate between the cold draft and warm air. Honestly how much time do u spend maintaing ur AG. Besides toping off water and adding nutes every other week or so u spend like maybe 2 mins a day tops. Im not talking the hours u sit there admiring ur plants im talking maitaining

Your posts have been really helpful and have a lot of great information and really easy to follow. Thanks for the great details and all the knowledge. Keep up the great work and your plants look amazing!
 
Harry i have been following your grow since you started and i must say im excited for you . I just recently started my own aero bout 3 weeks in ... i have gotten many great idea's and have a few of my own and am testing them out .... :-) .

If you're using your own nutrients, the AG nutrient light is irrelevant, since it's on a pre-set timer--it isn't measuring the ppm. If you know you have to refill the reservoir every day, the water notification light is also irrelevant. So basically, with these advantages removed, what's the difference between the maintenance you'd do with the AG and a traditional hydroponics setup? The difference is you could leave a hydroponics setup (with a large reservoir) alone for several days and not worry about the plants sucking up all the water in your absence. Because of its small size, the AG requires attention at least every other day.
