Half Harvest: 318 grams wet....Big bud

Well today i cut down half of the plant, pretty much only the main colas that looked done. I left the bottom half to pick up some extra weight and to ripen just a bit more. The weight was crazy. 318 grams wet on just half of the plant. CFLS are amazing. Lemme know what u guys think

That looks awsome man! What strain is that? How many bulbs did you grow that under? I am currently at the end of my first grow with cfls hoping to harvest in a few weeks

The strain is Big Bud By sensi Seeds.

Nutrients- i used botanicare nutrients: cal-mag plus, liquid karma, sweet original berry and raw, pure blend pro grow and bloom(soil) and power flower. Plus molasses for flushing.

Lighting: about 1000watts cfls

Soil: fox farm Happy frog

Holy shit balls I'm gonna have to get me some of those big bud seeds the yield is awesome!

i know the buds are dense as fuck, their about as hard as a rock

How long did you veg for and what light cycle?

a. you've weighted without trimming
b. that's a wet weight, so not massively impressive, wait till it dries.
c. is 1kw of CFL better or worse than a 1kw HPS?

that aside though it's still a nice looking plant

your grow looks great man..

but yeah, hate to burst your bubble.. but not only are you weighing the "wet" weight..

but your also weighing the buds.. without being trimmed first. So, a good percentage of that weight, is from leafs and stems.

Once you get the buds trimmed correctly, and then you dry them.. you'll be lucky to get about half of the wet weight.

but either way, you'll have heavy beautiful buds. Those babies sure do look appetizing!!

come on guys i know i weighed it before the trimming
I dont plan on the trimming being 20grams of wieght or anything. So we will just take off the 18 and just say i havested 290 grams wet. thats still a good amount. thanks anyways for the replies. And also thats only half the plant.

well she lost just about half of her weight last night but i knew it was coming. Im still ecstatic about still having 180grams, although i know she will lose more weight.
