Hamas offensive against Israel

thanks for the heads up buddy and the info........

You are looking at a dead man still talking, and he isn't doing Vlad any favors by linking Russia with Hamas and Iran. Like I said, history has shown you don't want Israel as your enemy with its population at its government's back over a mass atrocity that they all saw on TV. Russia is in an existential fight for its life with Ukraine and Ukraine could use an ally like Israel, having a modern Jewish hero as Ukrainian president helps with sentiment too. If there is retribution on Iran, it will take the form of suicide or starlinked drone attacks deep into Iran and if they are attacking using starlink, Elon had better not try to pull the plug on this one! Think if Israel wanted to use starlinked drones to attack everywhere in Iran, that Uncle Sam would refuse them? Think Elon would be able to stand in the way? Why would Israel risk pilots when starlink can do the job these days and strike deeper and harder. Cheap GPS guided suicide drones could wreak havoc on their power grid too. Once they are done dealing with Hamas on the ground in Israel the focus will shift, and the intelligence is being gathered for that now. First up, Hamas leadership in Iran or elsewhere with starlinked drone strikes using missiles, American style!

Just a guess, but I'll bet some clever fellow has thought of using starlink drones for quite some time now and I suspect the drones and systems have already been developed to take advantage of this potential game changer. They could fly down the streets of the Iranian cities at cartop level FFS with 4k vision from multiple cameras and sensors, it would be like being there with a 24ms latency and huge bandwidth using multiple diversity phased array antennas for redundancy, they could even make custom ones buried in the wings too. That is how I see the future of war and Israel has the technical chops and political power with America to pull it off, fuck Elon! The days of risking pilots for deep strikes into Iran are over, there are now alternatives and Israel is positioned to leverage them. This recent atrocity has just motivated them to do such a thing and a figure they are probably ready they should have seen the military potential of starlink and are preparing or have already prepared to utilize its potential.

I hope he is up to his eyeballs in it along with Iran and they turn Israel into a Ukrainian ally, and we sanction Russia and Iran even harder and enforce those sanctions more tightly. Link them enough and both could end up as state sponsors of terrorism and Russian citizens would lose their money in America if Joe wanted to take it and give it to Ukraine.

Come to think of it, that would be a move Israel could make against Russia if they were involved in this shit, bust them. I mean get them designated a state sponsor of terrorism in America using their political clout along with plenty of anti-Russian American hawk allies. Then Joe could take private Russian money and give it to Ukraine as well as the stuff their government has in the bank. A prefect move to retaliate against Russia, fuck them for a trillion or more!

"Gaza City – In the midst of harrowing numbers of Palestinian deaths and injuries under Israeli bombardment is a smaller figure: 20.

Twenty families have been erased from Gaza’s cohesive society, in which everyone knows everyone else going back generations.."

"Overnight from Thursday to Friday, the Israeli army dropped leaflets over Gaza ordering Palestinians to leave northern Gaza and Gaza City and head south.

Just over one million people live in the area Israel wants to clear, and while thousands did head south, many people stayed where they were because they could not arrange transport, chose to stay in their homes or heeded a call by Hamas to ignore Israel’s demand.

Israel’s attacks on residential areas have filled hospital corridors with injured people, some falling to the floor due to the lack of available beds, surgical rooms and intensive care units.

At the moment, much of the discussion being had to solve this situation has revolved around the idea of humanitarian corridors to allow Palestinians to leave Gaza. The suggestion to open an overland crossing into Egypt was rejected by Cairo, which did agree to open the crossing for humanitarian aid.

But Palestinian officials in Gaza argued that the urgency of the situation demands more immediate action to stop the bombardment and prevent further deaths and human suffering.

Health Ministry Director Munir al-Barsh said the Israeli air attacks have “criminally and systematically targeted residential blocks”, which means that a majority of the victims are civilians.

“The bombing is targeting everyone, including homes, health facilities and ambulance crews,” he said at a press conference on Thursday.

Israel says it will keep on targeting Hamas and resistance groups in Gaza.

Palestinians in Gaza are left living under the falling bombs and in the destruction, facing hunger, the lack of clean drinking water and the potential spread of infectious diseases.

As the number of victims rises and more and more families disappear from Palestine’s rich tapestry of history and culture, there is a bewildered note to the mourning as people try to come to grips with what these disappearances mean."

Odd that they make no mention of the fact that Israel announced its intentions in advance. Or that Hamas did no such thing prior to their terror barrage.

I used to like al-Jazeera as a moderate reporter on all things Arab.

No more. This drips pro-Hamas bias.

I have sympathy for those who cannot move in time. But those who “chose to stay” or “heeded Hamas” have forfeited any righteous voice. I hope they come through ok, but if they don’t, it’s on them.

Keep in mind that Palestinians and Hamas are not the same thing.

Don't understand duck, please explain
more bear than duck. anyway

please point out in the article any mention that

a) Israel gave advance warning,

or

b) Hamas did.

Otherwise your commentless repost of that article merely makes my point. al-Jazeera is giving the terrorists an unrestricted podium.

A. Drop leaflets.

B. Not sure if announcing a 'surprise' attack is the point. Where was the IDF for 8+ hrs? Were they given advanced notice from outside intelligence?

C. Where are the Palestinians of Gaza supposed to go? Where CAN they go??

a) I do not find the words leaflets or warning once in the article. My initial complaint has to do with the article’s bias.

b) compare and contrast with Israel’s giving warning.

c) south of Wadi Gaza for the time being.

Already the strip is the most heavily populated piece of land on the planet. Where are half the population to go? What services are there, no water, electricity, sewage. Will be a breeding ground for diseases. How long will they need to remain there? Or is Israel shrinking the land the Palestinians are to live on? The last time they were pushed out of their homes in Israel. If they leave their homes again will they have a home to return to?

Gaza evacuation: Why getting people out in less than 24 hours is 'impossible'

An article from Al Jazeera about Israel's orders:

"Israel’s army has ordered the evacuation of all civilians living in Gaza City and in the north of the Gaza Strip ahead of a feared ground offensive on the besieged enclave.

The directive came on Friday on the heels of what the United Nations said was a warning they received from Israel to evacuate 1.1 million people living in the north of Gaza within 24 hours."

B. Compare and contrast (the real issue here) living in an apartheid state, being held captive with little to no food, water, fuel and electricity to living in a comfortable civilization protected by one of the most advanced intelligence military and technology like the iron dome.

C. Palestine: Daily struggle to survive in brutal living environments, continually harassed by Israeli soldiers.
Israel: "while we occupy the Arab's land, we'll give them minimal resources, invite all our families, steal more land, continue the cycle of oppression and if/when they do anything about it we'll just make an example of them.. just be sure to give em a day's warning.. to move in an even more condensed area. And, don't worry guy's, we told them where to go! If they don't leave, f**k em!"

An eye for an eye or in this case an eye for a few bodies, is not, imho, an appropriate solution to ending the oppression of Gaza (or even an appropriate response to Hamas attacks) but is simply the (contined) racist expansion of Israel slash destruction of Palestinian life and communities.

My heart goes out to all the suffering people's of this world. Genuinely hoping for Israel to stop the genocide and captivity of innocent people. Or, at least for the US to stop their "unwaivering support" from every president since the occupation began. It's sickening..

I feel for the ordinary Palestinians as well, and I agree that the very short window of action set by Israel is bullshit. I walk back my suggestion that Israel’s warning is anything other than a sort of psychological terror.

However the imperative to root Hamas out is reasonable as well.

I would have said that, had Hamas and Hezbollah been less violent, an accommodation might be reached.

But you have two states who hate each other’s guts contesting the same land.

And you have leadership in Israel going fascist, which bodes really badly for Palestinians.

I do not see an equitable solution for either party here.

Whoever convinced Hamas to do this thing now sure knew just where to place the wrench in the works.

Now if Hamas took out "The destruction of Israel" from its charter things might be a little different.
