Hamilton Beach TrueAir vs Febreeze Plugin....Odor Control

Has anyone had any experience with these? seem to possibly be a decent solution for a small closet grow of maybe 2 plants.

im kinda interested in the Room Eliminator as it seems like it would be perfect for a small closet.

any input would be great

may aswell buy a proper carbon filter if your gonna spend that kind of money anyway.

i dont have a completely enclosed area though, otherwise i would setup a DIY carbon scrubber

also thought i might be able to create my own replacement filters for those as need be

Get yourself some essential oils. ... They're almost pure Terpenes and the most powerful odour neutralizers available.

You can either shake a few drops around or make your own Ona gel.

My recipe for Homemade Ona. ...

Essential oils (few drops)
Polysorbate 20 (To emulsify/mix oil and water)
Water absorbing crystals/polymers
Water

It only cost a few pennys and is better than anything you can find in the store.

If youre the DIY type, you can rig a small PC type fan over a container of this stuff to make your own Ona bucket.

Moebius, any suggestions on where to get said essential oils and the other ingrediants in your homemade ona. interested in checkin em out.

Polysorbate20 is used in beauty moisturisers, bath stuff and lotions and is found in the same places.... The one I buy is derived from Coconut fatty acids!

Water crystals. ... A small bag is all you need as they really expand when they absorb liquid. You can get the coloured ones too, it doesnt matter.

This works best with distilled water (which I DONT use) but is GREAT with just regular tap water too.

What I do is .... 1 litre of water, 1 tbs of Polysorbate20, 1tbs of essential oils .... mix ..... add crystals. wait 30 minutes. Actually I dont measure, I make it on the fly, but these are rough measurements.
