lol ive never had that problem... i hate it when people get the blunt wet though... only happened once and i made it clear that if they continued to make it wet, they werent allowed to keep hitting it

Am I the only one of the Fab 5 left online? Do I really got to be the one to continue the onslaught?

id never even seen a filter on a blunt until he rolled it, then folded up a peice of cardboard and jammed it into the bottom of the blunt... idk, maybe its a bay area thing, cause ive been smoking since i was 15 and never seen that

wow, how can this still be happening second signature . . . .. its called a crutch posser

for the sake of clear information, everybody needs to realize (as some have stated) : Filters are different than crutches/roaches..

I never smoke my herb all the way down to the end even when i roll with just paper and herb..... i dont like smoking the tar that builds up

I'm starting to fancy a crutch for a few reasons:

it tastes cleaner, because there is more surface area for the tar to stick to.... if you pull out a used crutch and put it next to a new one, the used is VERY dark.... i just think "thats not in my lungs. good".

it also makes a joint more stable and sturdy. I roll stiff joints dont get me wrong, but for some reason adding the cardboard at the end just makes it more rigid when you hold it...

it also keeps the end of the joint OPEN wide, so the airflow through the joint is great til the end. Also when people wet mouth it, it doesn't stop hitting.

Personally, when i smoke by myself i could care less if theres saliva on the end.. so its nice to walk around doing things outside with a jay in the edge of my mouth

It's not tar, it's resin, that's the good stuff bruvva. That's why roach joints are the best joints!

I always puzzle when people say things like that, it's never seemed like resin to me, more as you say, like tar, shite, smelly foul and down right nasty.

Is it just me or is the weed poking out of the mouth end of samwells joint? What of that simply get's wasted or does it get pulled apart and put into the next joint or?

ya confused me with the lack of quotes lol you must be a little intoxicated like myself 8)

I say its resin when I'm trimming and the trichomes come off on my scissors/hands.... i say its resin when its the vapors collecting into a solid substance in my volcano's screens.... but the burning plant matter collecting.. is tar to me. it contains very little 'resin'...

Resin:
Verb: Rub or treat with resin.
Noun: A sticky flammable organic substance, insoluble in water, exuded by some trees and other plants (notably fir and pine).

Alternatively it adds a degree of stability to the end of the joint. It's not a filter tip, it' just a bit of card.

KY, what do you class as joints out of curiosity?
anything with pot in it classifies a joint judt never used a tip. other than the 1 joint i rolled for this site like last year was a tulip and it had a card stem. turned out pretty effen good for the first one. lol

I'm with Tip Top. Standard fare is a rolled up bit of card at the end (roach) traditionally ripped from a train ticket X3 I never understood why people paid for books of 'filter tips'. A filter is what goes in the end of a cigarette. The last unfinished bit of a joint is referred to as a roach too. Some of the best joints can be rolled from saved up roaches. You wouldn't think it with that dark looking stuff but they can smack you in the face surprisingly hard. If rolling an extra big stupid fun joint I like to add a few roaches to the weed for extra kick.

Also, people that roll straight (cigarette like) joints are often laughed at. They're generally conical, with the stability of a card roach making it even easier, rolling from the bottom up, sticking it down as you go along. Voila, pretty cone.

well idk how im a poser cause ive never smoked a blunt with that folded up peice of paper in it, but ok... usually everyone where im from, or at least the ones my age do it like this:
a)Buy a swisher, in your favorite flavor. Personally, I like grape.
b) take a knife, or if your good use your hands, and break it open down a long seam
c) empty out the "guts" which is the tabbacco
d) The swisher gets licked at edges
e)fill up swisher
f) roll swisher tight
g) lick swisher where its lose or where you think a seam may run
h) take lighter to swisher to dry
i) light and enjoy

^thats overly explained but i wanted to get it accross that those are the kind of blunts everyone smokes out here. Which is why the peice of cardboard confused the hell out of me

Okay I said they Can make Some of the best. Fresh draw is always what it's about. Speaking of which, I never thought I'd say this but when is cheese coming back to where I live? Mmn.. Buddha Cheese. Tangerine dream and every kind of kush are circulating at the moment but I have my favorites. I miss it so...

I was always under the impression that using a card roach in a blunt was 'improper' but I never saw the harm in it, personally.

It may be different but it shouldn't be confusing :p
lol i'd never seen it, even on here, or heard of it. not even from my twin bro, who knows vastly more about weed than me. And it kinda obstructed airflow, so i was like.. wtf, whats the point, you cant even hit it hard

Most the joints in this thread are rolled with roach card ;) I'll be quiet and let you off today though :D

Tis been nothing but exodus cheese here for the past 2+ years for me, had a little single skin of Void on the way down town this morning and the change in strain knocked me to and fro :D

Putting a piece of cardboard or piece of cigarette ppack in the end of a fat blunt, will not only be easier to smoke but no flakes will fall out or get sucked into your mouth. Ive never seen a long filter in a blunt but I do put about a 1/4 inch long. And it is not for burning your fingers! lol If you need that filter to stop you from burning your fingers then your hands must be huge. Lay off the munchies

Ouch 0_o no need to drag crap from a totally different thread in here...

Anyways, I love the train ticket tradition here. It's so fun stealing a fat wad of them from ticket machines or seeing someone else shadily pick up like 10 because you know EXACTLY what they're going to do with them. Or seeing someone with a 1x2 cm section clearly ripped a ticket that fell out of their pocket. :3
