Hey Psu, exciting grow!
I didn't do another grow due to various reasons, weather, me being unprepared etc. I'll set up a grow much like Hans' new grow (did you see it) in the new year.

Keep up the good documentation.

Ok finally got time to sort out all the crap in my tent

Well I still have 100L of soil that needs to go into storage somewhere else

One aero veg box up on the top deck is all I have going on at the moment, but I`m going to set up 2 boxes that will hold 4 to 5 plants in 85mm net pots they will be my flowering boxes and they`ll stay on the top deck

Down below on the next shelf down that you can`t see in the pics is my cfl/led clone/prop/veg area

Anyway at the moment I have 1x 300w led running and a 200w 3000k induction hence why the induction is aimed to one side I put the 2nd led unit on for the pics so it was not warmed up or anything.

So these plants just came out of an 8 site areo prop and into my 10 site veg box at the moment I have 2 foggers in there and an airstone hoping 1 to 2 weeks of veg before I can stick them in flowering boxes and maybe take a few cheeky clones off them.

Looking good Psu. The IG ones are looking much more frostier. That could be strain or not. The led one looks huge. cheese grows huge. They look happy

btw I made a compost / guano tea last night using the uprising. Going to water them with it in a little bit. I will let you know how it goes. I noticed during flower with top dressing, the plant does not recover near as quickly as it does in veg. Sometimes not at all. Or its just that I added top dressing a little too late. That's only been with my master kush.
Yeah different strains.....might be the UV-b/ IDK.........probably right on the late topdress, wanted to be sure it was a def......thanks for the info

Please start a journal.....I think allot of people would love to see Hans & hydro setup......yeah he sent me an email about his new test, looks promising.

Looks good Kona............how's the coverage on those 300w budzilla panels???

ILP's cheesedream @ 58 days since germ under the Hans led panel(65watts);

005.jpg006.jpg007.jpg008.jpg....hopefully the ferts kick in soon, she is still losing leaves to the def.........I think she will be alright though.

PS's anubis girls @ 53 days since germ under the inda-gro 100 panel(105watts);

010.jpg011.jpg012.jpg013.jpg014.jpg015.jpg....the overfert symptoms aren't getting worse/ it's strange that they are showing burnt tips since I haven't given them any ferts for 28days(topdress)....I'm starting to think that the high peatmoss mix is the culprit=== its breaking down and causing more water retention/salt build up and suffocating the roots on all the girls IMO...........cutting off the beni bac/RO trinity additives completely...........just plain aerated water and total medium dryouts cycles from now on.

001.jpg002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg009.jpg..28th day of 13/11 schedule...be safe and happy growing RIU

I think you have mag and possibly cal deficiency. when either get worst they mimic nute toxicity on the tips. Right now it just looks like mag def. Make a compost tea with epsom salt. If you start seeing reddish transparent rust spots . Then its cal def.

the IG ones are looking soooooo frosty.

Yea

Looks good Kona............how's the coverage on those 300w budzilla panels???
Well there not Budzilla`s there a china made copy but the coverage is great I`ll be honest if I wanted too I could pull my shelf out and light my whole tent with just 1 of them so 1.2m x .8m x 2m so 2 meter cubed is coverable with them but I want some super frosted buds so I have a 2nd light to turn on during flower and the induction to fill in any spectrum gaps as the led`s are purely putting out red and blue light

Lets put it this way my last run of auto`s in soil the last 2 plants had one of these led lights on them plus some cfl`s for around the last 6 days and they exploded with crystals and out did any of the other plants, when the other plants were grown using 2 x 300w 2w led panels and 1 x 180w led panel and a bunch of 100w and 12% uvb cfl`s

So I`m hoping for good things from this grow, the skywalker kush`s are all a tad on the small side hoping they veg up ok in the end, of the 2 cotton candy`s I have one of them is still tiny the other one is my biggest plant in this batch and I have 3 jack widow`s all growing strong.

I have a g13 superskunk veg`ing in my cupboard might swap out the cotton candy for that as it`s so small now that I think it`s going to get nute burn soon as I`m pushing up the ppm to keep the others growing fast, plus I only need one to clone off, shame I got the last 2 pick and mix from attitude as I can`t be asked to buy a 6 pack of them.

Saying that I`ve got 3 skywalkers 2 jackwidows and a few freebies in my fridge waiting to be popped oh yeah anyone ever grown Alquimista ? not sure if I should pop that instead of another skywalker I think I`m after something with a nice clean sativa high....................

I was leaning towards a mag def too but aren't we feeding all the plants with the same batch? I'm not seeing the same issues on the annubis. Strain related perhaps.

Nice job P and reps to the baby inda-gro for bringing in that early xmas annubis frost. Lovely

Brother I belive you have a nitrogen deficiency.:leaf:

Unlike a magnesium deficiency, nitrogen def will start from the tips and work its way back to the leaf node. Nitrogen and Magnesium get confused. The best way to tell them apart is, nitrogen deficiency starts around the tips and works its way to the back of the leaves, where a magnesium deficiency will cover the entire outer part of the leave and make the entire leaves yellow leaving the veins to stay green. If your plants are having a slow growth rate and have yellowing of the leaves, then most likely it’s a nitrogen deficiency.
Towards the middle to end of flowering stages, the plant will show a nitrogen deficiency almost always. This process is completely normal and just let the plant naturally yellow out as it uses it's stored nutrients. This actually helps you by getting ready for final flushing and then harvesting. At this point DO NOT not use nitrogen to fix the problem. The yellowing leaves will then eventually drop off after the plant is done with them.

Parts affected by a nitrogen deficiency are: Older foliage, going to whole plant, Petioles (rare) cases.

You have that backwards. Mag deficency starts at the tips and goes along the edges. Then eventually mimics nute burn. Nitrogen deficency is blotchy yellowing. Keeps getting more and more yellow without burning tips

Hyroot, IMO is correct on this. I might ad that you only see the yellow, at least from what I can tell, at the canopy. Any thoughts on why there isn't any issues with the Annubis?

amazing what you can do with 60 watts!!!
This strain just gets big under most lighting IMO( her brother under the Inda was looking big as well)...........65 watts will not be enough for her.....let's see if I can keep her alive till the chop :P

This may also be a possibility...........shouldn't have a cal/mag def due to my hard tap/RO foundation applications........who knows you could be right

Those budzilla's are made by the same manufacturer as yours minus the 300% markup ($1100 on amazon LOL)...........always wanted to grow skywalker kush/jealous!........you should start a journal, so we can see how this turns out.

This feels like an advertisement for Hans' panels. They seem to work great!
No ad here........yes they do work , and work very well when multiple panels are used......should look at manoos/digimidgi/chilazaro grows with these panels; impressive stuff.

Yes exact soil mix and ferts dosage used..........this is definitely strain related, cheese is too big and in a small container====fast def issues, rootbound, blah........she will recover.

She may also need some N, no doubt........I think she used up ALL the NPK in this mix, I went too light on the topdressing and initial fert soil mix too.....grower learning a new nute regiment/ errors galore! :)

Anubis may have been overwatered due to this crappy high peat moss mix IMO, so showing overfert issues......RO trinity could also be a factor. Different strains, different feeding requirements ..........let's not even talk about DP's blueberry strain/PIA.

ILP's cheesedream @ 61 days since germ under the Hans led panel(65 watts):

017.jpg005.jpg006.jpg007.jpg008.jpg009.jpg..Removed more leaves w HEAVY necrosis and prone to fungal attack.....flowering is still slow due to the supercrop/p-k def......looking better, newer growth shows slight improvements..........might hit her with a low dose of azomite at next watering (that stuff has saved my ass many times before)..

PS's anubis girls @ 56 days since germ under the Inda-gro par 100 induction (105watts):

018.jpg010.jpg011.jpg012.jpg014.jpg015.jpg016.jpg......Seem fine drying out completely.......stretch stopped /will see how much they bulk up in the next couple of weeks....still like the squatty bitch.

001.jpg002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg013.jpg 31st day of 13/11..........Growing in SOIL is EASY!, I just made it hard on myself by using two gallon containers for the full cycle/ and low balling the initial fert applications, if I followed RO's recommendations==easy peasy :) .....Can't imagine what it's like to flower MJ in party cups/ pro-grower shit.............be safe and happy growing RIU

@PSUAGRO

Yeah would like to but I`m so dam busy at the moment and I`ve had some issues dam res temps went up way too much the other day and put the skywalkers into shock them seam to be getting better slowly funny as the Jackwidow`s I had in the same box and the cotton candy have recovered a lot faster. Aircon was re run to blow onto the res and I set the temp on my aircon to 21c now I also set my foggers to 22c max so my res temp should never go over 22c now unless I have a power cut again lol

Still got some skywalker beans in the fridge so I can always just soil grow them to be safe and sure if this grow go`s to pot.

Next year I`m going to make more time for this hobby of mine.

Well that's NOT what I wanted to hear......so are you doubling up the doses from the recommendations/ No burning at all?? . Wow I majorly underfed these girls, no wonder I saw defs at 45 days in. I probably should hit the cheese with another dose of RO bloom then, right?..I've gone 1/2-1/4 strength throughout......I always rather have a def than a tox.

Lookin great!
thanks pet.........will see how it finishes:P

On the uprising I'm kind of wondering. If you can mix in enough just at the beginning to last all flower.

No burns. so.far on newest ones 2 tsp day 1. Then 3 tsp on day 21 ( yesterday). No fading. No burns.

The ones at 5 weeks. 2 started fading. Gave them 2 tsp a week ago and 1 more tsp yesterday.

my plants are huge. So they are using up a lot of nutes. Mine need it about every 3 weeks. Eventually I want to start doing super soil. I just don't have the room.

Hello there P. If you're sure of the deficiency, then maybe you should consider foliar feeding, which will get the nutes to the leaves faster and stop the damage sooner. It's not too late in flower to foliar feed that plant. Just a thought. And while I'm not familiar with that strain, if it's cheese, be patient. I was just gonna chuck a BC plant out of my flowering room for being scrawny with those weak ass cheese stems and I remembered that little piece of advice someone told me and that plant's working on producing some golfballs for me right now so patience with the Cheese sir. And Puff's right. For 65 watts that thing grows good sized plants. Or is it you grow good sized plants with 65 watts :)?

As always, Good Vibes to You and Happy Growing!

Well as my plants are going to be an extra 3 to 4 weeks in veg now due to the shock I ordered a 5 pack of some 65 to 70 day auto strain

I`ve worked out a little hydro set up using clay pebbles and 15L square pots I can get 2 pots into a 50L storage tub and stick 2 air-stones in each tub. I should be able to run 4 of the auto`s in this hydro set up while still vegging my other plants so I`ll try and get some snaps up in a month or so when there`s something to see

If all 5 seeds germ ok and none of them are male then I`ll run the 4th plant in 15L of biobizz soil and feed just bio grow and bio bloom so we`ll get to see soil vs hydro but I`ll put the runt in the soil so it won`t exactly be a fair test lol

My light`s at the moment are running 12/5/2/5 Red= lights off

So it`s going to be something new for me too as I`ve never run auto`s under my normal veg cycle also I`ve not used a clay pebbles hydro set up like this before, I`ll mostly use GHE nutes as there cheap and the 3 part is pretty easy and they do a HW version that really makes life easy as my tap waters ph can get up over 8 once its sat for a day or 2.

So yeah fun times ahead as otherwise I`d be at least 12 weeks away from finishing this batch as there about a week or 2 away from being big enough to take clones off of.

Infact I just topped all 3 of the jack widows and 1 cotton candy and 1 skywalker just now so hopefully I get some nice side branching in a week or 2 I only really need one solid clone off of each strain that way I can veg up some fat mum`s and get more clones off them, as long as I can pull 1 to 2 oz off each of these auto`s I`ll have enough of a stash to take my time over my normal plants.

Jeeze it`s ended up being a fair bit more work then when I just used to stick a seed in some dirt lol
