It is the quality of our food that is at risk here. People should see that as a basic necessity but we allow ourselves to be fed, processed junk. Then we wonder why there is an diabetes epidemic in this country.
We are implicitly connected to the food we consume, until we realize this problems will worsen as the population increases.
The human race is not separate from natural systems and our artificial world will come crashing down around us if we don't wise up. It has become more than a moral issue, it has become a survival issue.
