Good day to all you fine kick ass people.
By special request from Sub I will be running this new cross called Harlequin X.Now I added the X because Sub thinks it was mostly pollinated with J.T.R.,but also added that it could also have been Vortex or Querkel but the bag was labeled as JTR.
Guess were just going to have to wait and see.
Now I would also like to add that I had never heard of said Harlequin so I asked Sub for the low down on her and this is what he had to say about her and I quote
Ok so here we go.
I recieved only 5 seeds so as not to take any chances I droped all 5 into a shot glass of tap water for 24 hours and I was blown away when I checked on them after only 12 hrs and believe it or not but I was looking at the tips of the tap roots starting to protude already after only 12 hrs.I prepped some Peat pellets right away and placed the little younglings in and 12 hours later they were already sticking theire heads out of the P pellets.Fook me these lil guys or gals are fast.So now I scrambled to get them potted and behold 24 hrs later I had lil baby's plants. All this took place in 48 hours.Never in all my years of growing have I seen seed to a plant in 48 hours and thats over 30 years.
On wid da show
I kid you not,but these are 48 hours from seed
I'll keep you poted on thier progress

So that being said this will be an interesting test grow for me seen as how I am one of those peeps look n' to catch a buz but I do know a couple of folks looking for pain relief and one of those individuals in particular would be a good candidate I think.Well first pretty much every grower in the US will know harlequin we choose her based on shear CBD potency.
Harlequin is preceded by a Thai cannabis strain, a Swiss one, and a Columbian Gold marijuana strain. While Harlequin is notably low in THC content (lab testing in California showed around 7%), it is considerably high in CBD (usually showing results between 5% and 9%). Cannabidiol content this high in strains throughout dispensaries is considered somewhat rare in recent time, making this unique strain sought after for it's pain relieving qualities and noticeable cerebral effects.
Comparitively, this amazing hybrid begins her flowering cycle early. Dime-sized buds are oftentimes visible after just 2 weeks into Harlequin producing the first buds. Additionally, growers should take caution in the last week or two before they harvest this plant. The flowering tops become so heavy and buds so tri-chrome-covered that the colas will require extra support to keep from collapsing under all this added weight. An added frustration - but one that is well worth the wait - is that Harlequin usually takes between 2 and 3 weeks to finish the curing process.
Harlequin is not for those smokers who are just looking to "catch a buzz," due to the low THC content, however medicinally speaking, this strain is great for patients looking for chronic pain relief or who enjoy meditating, because of the amount of CBD present in the cannabis. Harlequin is one of those strains that, when grown properly, will come out amazing, but when grown improperly, has a tendency to be an abomination.
