My only baby went hermie and the pistles are turning amber, probbly have about 3-5 weeks left or intill frist frost
but i was wondering after i cut it down I have to take off all the pollen sacs?
Is there a good way to do it? hope my yield is like a o theres balls every where but some nice buds on top of the branches :D thanks

i know man it sucks not gettin a reply, but heres one!
its up to you if you want anything different, if the seeds and shit are not gonna be ripe and good and viable by the time you cut, then take them ALL out dont leave any in there you dont want no headahces everytime you blaze, try and get as much visible ones out when you trim, but youll have to de-seed when you blaze too.
you COULD leave them but i do not suggest doin it, if they are ripe (darker brown or black looking or will be soon) then keep them, if not (white or light green) then they are useless

I've never had a hermie, but if it was me, I'd try clipping those pollen sacs of as they grow.

I've also heard that once a plant turns hermie THC production slows to a near halt.

I don't really know. Did you grow inside out outside? If you grew outside if could have just got a little pollen on it. Pollen can travel 2 miles.

That's probably it, somewhere within a few miles of your grow is a grow where the males weren't dealt with in time.

Bummer, but look on the bright side, you should grow some of those seeds you got, might be some killer herb.

damn boys, i jsut found 13 viable black beans in my second plant, i think i forced it hermie for it being out too long cause its all too orange for my liking, anyway i get to keep my genetics going, which is something iwas REALLY bummed about, not having any more AI to grow in the future, now i GOT NUFF SEEDs, more than how many i ordered lmao, and my final weight was 1163 Gs wet 2 plants cfls

No, that's not a hermie, that's a pollinated female. Hermaphrodites must, by definition, have the sexual organs and gonads of both sexes.

Seed production is directly tied to pollination. Flowering plants are ALL about sex, that IS what flowering is, sexual reproduction. The donation by two parents of haploid cells (cells with a half compliment of genes) to create a new organism with full alleles and everything.

i have it seperated :) the funny thing is i have only pulled off maybe 3 or 4 pollen sacs the plant never grew any more back after the first 3 or 4... no seeds have been found.. im hoping to harvest it in like 2 weeks.. the only reason i kept it is because it was the only female that showed in my first batch and i need something to hold me over til my Strawberry Haze fems are finished!
