just doing it properly really. Dry until crispy on the outside, but still a little spongey, and then put it in jars. The stem should still bend pretty easily. Burp the jars once a day for a few days, and then watch it to make sure it doesn't mold. Keep it jarred for at least a month or two. It should be about as good as it's going to get after about 3 or 4 months. Also, you could try water curing if you're looking for smooth smoking bud. It won't taste or look the same after being water cured, but it won't lose potency or damage the bud if you do it right.
