well they look pretty milky to me should not be long till they start turning brown if the mildew is to bad it would be an early pick tis all

Very little leaf in there want to share about how the PM happened? Cold nights?

I'm gonna tell you what no one else here will tell you.
If that PM is getting close to the buds themselves cut off what ever it is on that is near the bud and chop that.
You are beginning the window of chop. The PM can continue to spread through dry.
Now if you can confidently cut off everything with PM on it give it another week.
That my opinion on the situation.

Had some pretty wild temp swings here in MI about a month and a half ago, that combined with me forgetting to turn on my exhaust fans for a few days during this time, is what I think caused it.

Been heavily defoliating since first sign of pm, anything that showed pm, I cut and removed. Been infected since about week 3.

I have been cutting anything w signs of pm off, only lost 2 top nugs so far. As for what I cut off, can I cut off the infected spots and save the rest? Or should I toss the whole bud?

You can. You can also do a h202 wash on them to kill any left over PM before hanging to dry.
H2O2 wash/Fresh water wash
Did a wash today with H202 warm water followed by a fresh cold water wash. Here were the results. As we can see the H202 took care of the bulk of the crap from the ash and such. The fresh water rinsed the 1st wash off and offered additional cleaning. But look how clear that second bucket...
