So this is my first grow
Using Black Gold sold on this plant
Temp. 78/ Humidity 48/60
Going on 8 weeks old from germination,
5 weeks into flowering.
Was kinda rushed into flowering due to grow tent issues. Anyway, I'm just wondering, if this plant is getting close to harvest time. I been having growth stunt issues, an tried an adjusting the p.h. , the lights, flushed it, an finally discovered it had aphid problems...so I sprayed it with some 3 in 1 Ortho spray.
I am new to this an probably missed a lot of indicators to the problem.
Any kind insight will help.
I tried to color out my shelf in the back, for better view..

It wouldn’t be worth drying honestly. Sadly once chopped it’ll dry to nothing. The bud sites didn’t develop worth a shit. I’m sorry for your loss but time to start fresh.

Maybe give em some bloom formula, let em go a couple more weeks, see if they get big. White hairs = still growing. Also look at trichomes see how they look. Should be all cloudy some amber. My understanding ( for next grow) give nitrogen all way through 3 weeks into flower and then give bloom nutrients. If outside leave leaves on, inside see if you can tie em down. Leaves give the plant nutrients to make the buds big. Its rough the first couple times growing but keep it up! Good luck!

i wouldn't smoke buds sprayed with 3 in 1 ortho...
Yeah I wasn't sure if that is what I was supposed to do....I read a few places where others had the same issue an a video popped up with someone spraying their plant so I thought it might be ok...an their's was also flowering...now I know though at least thx.

Next time try rinsing the aphids off with clear water. Depending on how many. If it's a lot call it a day and start from scratch. Sprays aren't so bad during veg, but should be avoided at all cost during flower. Pesticides may say it's OK up till harvest but that's when your eating fruits and vegetables, not smoking them.

Also if your plants get stunted growth try recharge by real growers. It will help stabilize ph and unlock nutrient locked plants. It also helps condition your soil. Expensive but good stuff.

I know I went a little overboard on clipping the leaves. I know now not to take them off unless it's necessary, an only a little bit for air circulation an what not.

Oh wow, ok...yeah I sure am new to this. I only seen 1 here an there...like 1 on every 3 or 4 leaves...maybe not even that. But I didn't want them to reproduce....but will definitely know next time not to spray it with that shit in flowering next time...

Lady bugs might be a good option if your in a greenhouse or outdoors, but I don't want no bugs inside good or bad ones. Damn sure dont wanna accidentally smoke one. leave room at the top of your pots for sand or steel wool, that'll help with gnats. Then lollipop your plants and use a good fan to keep air blowing across the bottom of the plants and the top of the soil. Gnats dont like strong wind and lollipopping help the plant focus bud growth at the top. Also use a decent fan to keep your canopy moving so bugs wont want to land on the leaves (too windy). Remember the bugs will go after a weak plant in a heartbeat, so lay off the nutrients. It's easier to add than take away nutes. Nutrient lockout causes stunted growth, and is generally caused by poor ph management and too many nutrients.

I don't get why people spray poisons to get rid of aphids. All you have to do is spray them off with water which you need to do even if you killed them with poisons because if you don't wash them of you'll have dead bugs and bug excrement on your plants.

Thx for the help everyone, I sure did need the insight. An I am learning along the way, I did some research before hand, but not enough I guess....lol.. but thx for the help I greatly appreciate. I do have a few plants I started a month ago, in veg. Stage yet. I'm trying to practice with a few bag seeds before I get some good seeds for next spring. I also have a plant bigger than the one in the picture. It has some pretty good buds on it... so I'm excited about that one..no aphids on that one. It's in a separate tent.

Not getting off subject or criticizing but it appears your growing in a closet full of clothes. Don't start your house on fire..
